I've heard a lot of con case and got cheated by seller or buyer. I think, this is the time for us to think about the new system that need to be implemented by this year. So, we can run our business smoothly.

Please give your suggestion.
This is not for personal benefit but for whole online community in malaysia. Especially for lowyat merchant and buyer.
This is for our future businees with no con man, being cheated or robbed but with a full of responsibilty and trust.
Because, all of us want that win-win situation between buyer and seller.

Lowyat.net is not designed for online trading, hence the lack of security features implemented. All the trade done here is here done in a good faith between the seller and the buyer as we're in the same online forum community.

If you're a serious online seller, please invest some money and buy some account from the reputable online e-commerce site such as ebay, postme.com.my, lelong.com.my etc.

If you're a serious online buyer, the again seek out the bargains from those reputable site I have mentioned aboe.

I only bought things here from the members that I know personally.

Think of something like new system to make the online trading is just a waste of resource and time, judging from lowyat.net main purpose unless the admin/owner of this forum is seriously think venturing into e-commerce business.

So U said that ebay, lelong and postme are the safe place for on9 trading? I dun think so. A lot of my friends got conned from there except postme lah. Becoz, eventhough lelong and ebay have details of seller and buyer, why con case still occur? Why con case involve the same person? I don't think that this thread going to waste your time.
Think positive k. We need suggestion with positive minded. This is for the sake of on9 community.

This is a forum my friend... trading is just part of it... and you should know admin is doing their job for free so don't expect that they can do everything. If new system is implemented, who is gonna make sure it's happen as we expected. Admin? buyer or seller?

I'm sorry to say, but you just registered here... may I ask how many trading you have done here before you can say this place is not safe. I never had any problem here, even thou I have, never involved any money just my time only.

its hard to make our forum safe without conman..
it's depend on buyer and seller it self,,
they can think twice , googling around , before buy anything ..

no matter new member or old member we need to extra careful
before buying anything..

This is freedom of speech era. Everyone can give their thought. Not limited to the Otai otai.

Eventhough I didn't make a lot of trading, I still can read other member experience about on9 trading through internet . We are human that can observe and interpret environment. You human and I human.

I didn't say that lowyat is the only non-safe place. I said whole system in Malaysia on9 trading is not safe where the con man can't be traced even by authorities (If yes, why the case still occur with the same person). That is sumthing wrong man.

sure, some of us can avoid it, but what make con a con,
is the way of the con artist, most of them xploit greed
of human, PSP for rm 300?! who doesnt want it?
but in the end, mostly the one that can avoid
cpn, is ourself, even COD also can get con,
lets say, item is faulty? so how do u suggest to avoid con?
while most of ppl who got con is because they want a PSP for rm 300?

I'm sad that con case occur almost every hour. I already check other new thread about con case. I hope authority will make a new law regarding electronic trading.

this topic has been discussed in length many many times. No need to come up again.

In the end, LYN will stay as it is right now. Users just need to be more careful when trading.

this should be in trade zone resource centre.

btw, i think mods pin up successful tradelist there and i would suggest all the seller to give their details in a new thread called "seller detail" and hope that it would help to cut down con cases. this will also to protect seller interest. the details would be The seller real name, phone number and location(not address to protect the seller too). means the seller would only use 1 or 2 phone number(i think this is enough).

I have idea.what if Safetrader become limited to ours member only? so who member registered before CAN ONLY do bussiness here.U can see this forum already many years..must have their own `pengikut`..and the problem is case like con or what so over cause `untrustable` market to seller and of course to online forumer itself.....bak kata pepatah melayu....Nila setitik rosak susu sebelanga....because of one everything terkena .

I know this kind of restrtriction could be `merugikan` Lowyat.net itself...could be adverstisement menurun and lost market share(because need register to bussiness here)but have to remember without `us` (all seller and forumer) who are Lowyat.net? so better protect `US`.All forumer (not scammer) seems like INvestor...or pelabur.We come utk memajukan Lowyat.net.Without `us` who are Lowyat.net? What is Lowyat.net do about? One of the good reason right now....many of online Free advertisement so why `us` choose Lowyat.net? why not others site or forum? opps forget i got other one solution.....what if we do `FREEMIUM`.We do same way Mudah.com do? so the online trade have 2 pakej.one is FREE one is PREMIUM (have price to paid) for those newbie or new customer can take FREE pakej BUT for others seller have `modal` can get the paid pakej.....this solution wont `hurt` forumer and Lowyat.net much....Lowyat.net dont want lost their own `customer` and for us we dont want lost `local` forum like Lowyat.net.So this is `win win ` situation...Mudah.com now also have this pakej.One is FREE(have some restriction(cant adjust price etc ) and another pakej called ProNiaga (paid pakej)....so we can see...Mudah.com not lost their own regular customer and at the same time mudah.com dont `break ` rules as FREE FORUM.....

Hope this solution can `membantutkan` conman in this forum.



Most conman Know about this.they know.conman can be caught one day.they know kind of this job is haram.all religion wont let their people do like this...but this forum FREE.just put cheapest thing and asked deposit...and then give fake number and fake ic when the money bank in...and voila...run away.....most case i see here 90% cant and wont get their own money back.

As mentioned before over and over again, Lowyat.NET does not intend to be a full-featured trading site. This forum's trade zone is something like a communication platform between the seller and buyer.

If you want to have a safer trade experience, then the traditional COD method is still the best way to do it. And to protect yourself during COD, take measures like dealing at a bright place with people around. Have the item/product checked thoroughly before agreeing to the deal as a buyer.
