I think maybe today is one of my unlucky day.. This morning when go to work, I notice that my Waja speedometer is not function and when back from work, I notice that the reverse sensor, reverse lamp also not functioning. Stop by at a workshop around 7pm and they said that probably the speed sensor is spoiled already and that will cost around 2XX.00++ . They don't have the exact figure as they said need to order first. Anybody know has similar experience and what's the normal cost for that sensor?? As for reverse sensor problem, normally when we put our gear to reverse, we will hear a beep, but I noticed there is no beep at all, reverse sensor not working and, reverse lamp also not turn on. The mechanic said that might due to reverse switch. Also looking if anybody has similar experience and what's the cost for this part? p.s: Waja 1.6 MT Mits.. Thanks in advance

QUOTE(mxsteven @ Apr 21 2011, 11:03 PM) speedo no fuse... reverse also no fuse.... all is -ve signal so no need fuse... to confirm the switch try to remove the socket at the GB and take a paper clip and short the pin then on the key to ignition n put to reverse gear... if no light, check wiring... Speed sensor also at gearbox... 3 wire if not mistaken... the sensor cost about RM100 only call my sparepart fren 012-5896068 ah ming (tell u r Kancil VTEC steven fren) for pricing ... shop at Puchong behind Binary college opposite IOI mall. For KL sparepart shop call Kevin - 016-2223900 (tell u from LYN Waja forumer) both of this guys get spareparts very cheap... Thanks Steven, So there are possibility both issues are related and came from the gearbox area? There might be only wiring or socket problem inside the gear box?
