Got this figure for RM130 from the Tech Time 2006 event in MMU. Apparently other than PC stuff there's even a toy stall there!

Wow Chun Li has nice thunder thighs!

Ofcourse. They're usually bundled up in a whole set without the plastic egg shells. Saves space and material used (they reuse the egg shells). Their plastic egg shells are hard, durable and HUGE compared to those crap gashapon machines we have here. I have 3 of them :D

I used to saw an authentic gashapon machine at Malacca, though. The machine only takes tokens, 2 tokens, that is, (though there'll still be jackasses who insert 50 cent coins and thus jamming the coin slot, causing the promoters to eventually deploy guard to prevent such jackassness from happening again) that you can buy for RM2 per token at the counter. There were 4 of the machines, 2 dispensing sailor moon crap, the other 2 dispensing Super Robot Wars crap (which I bought 3). All 4 of them are for some promotion thing in Mahkota Parade for some children/teenage wear and accessories.

That happened some 8 years back, though tongue.gif

oo 8 years quite some time ago. i guess the payment method is one of the major hurdles of gashapon machines here. at least last time got RM1 coins. now only 50cent doh.gif

Strictly NOT gashapon.

But rather, carded Sega (or was it Banpresto?) UFO catcher prizes

yup, gashapons are smaller and cheaper, like this. i've ordered several times already using CCard. have to say it's very easy, if u want it fast use UPS delivery, but u have to pay the extra cost. free shipping's available within malaysia but it takes a while to be delivered (5-15 days)
price comparison

Gashapons have price tags i.e ¥100 - ¥500 or so, but for us to buy UFO catcher figs, it's harder to evaluate the price. smile.gif UFO catcher figs are good deals but sometimes dodgy... Quality not always that good. happy.gif
