QUOTE(ken2291 @ Feb 23 2011, 03:08 PM) try CyanogenMod. the latest update rocks Can't really understand the instructions. After I flashed the initial kernel without reboot, then what? I have to remove the battery and use 3 button to enter recovery? I always fail in that part. Says that my E: has no partitions. Any simple instructions for a noobie?

QUOTE(ken2291 @ Feb 24 2011, 12:14 AM) if you're still learning, then I suggest you not to try CyanogenMod yet, it's still not stable and there're bugs. u can try doc's rom or darky's Well, not really a noob. Previous ROM was Doc's rom, tried the Flagship as well. So just wanna try CM7. That is the only part of the instructions that I don't get. Flash the initial kernel using Odin without reboot, so how do I get to the recovery mode? I did try a few times, but its just stuck on the Main screen with KANGED on it. So if you can teach me to get past this part, the rest I will be able to proceed. Flashing roms is not a problemn for me, just that this CM7 is a new thing. And I can't wait 2 more months for MIUI final to come out.
