DXJPE is 2.2 version.. and only Europe version got 2.2.1..
me also using the 2.2.1 from europe version before..

Here is mine. Still prefer stock rom + speedmod. somehow just no so keen in flashing firmware and etc :/

disable lagfix? just go into recovery menu -> advanced speedmod ulk -> disable lagfix

if you're on speedmod kernel, you can root it by going into recovery menu -> advanced speedmod ulk -> root -> install su+busybox

K12U is out - probably very useful for holypredator as he/she needs near-perfect GPS performance.

Am thinking to go back to Darky (9.2 now, yes?) - Had 3 unexplainable incidents where my phone shut down by itself and this only happened with Doc's kitchen ROM as far as I can remember..

I haven't used lagfix since moving up to Froyo 2.2.1 ROMs. Phone seems pretty snappy without lagfix and enabling lagfix for me has only made the phone very slightly quicker but with significantly higher battery consumption.

Personally, I am not using speedmod because it's a Malaysian 'product' ha ha (otherwise I'd have kept my 10 yr old Iswara instead of selling it off to buy a 2nd hand Peugeot). I use speedmod because of all the kernels I've tried, speedmod has been most stable, speedy and battery saving. I don't like overclocking or underclocking so speedmod is my cup of tea..

Voodoo kernels are nice too. I just like the tweaks that are available in speedmod.

Just flashed my K13B 500 to K13C 250. I felt that the 500 is not as smooth as 250. I can feel that I'm haunted with lags, from time to time. Not continuous lags, but sudden lag, such as the phone not as responsive after I clicked something, or the scroll would jerks a bit. And I think there was serious battery drain as well as the usual 3G standby when I'm outdoor doesn't drain as fast as I could remember when I was on 250Hz kernel.

I had K13B 250 earlier.Everything was smooth, definitely smoother than 500's. Dunno why itchy butt wanna try 500, cause read the description that it was something about 1mhz divided by 500hz = 2, while 250's got a 4. Hence 500's should gives shorter response time. Manatau it's flawed.
