Hi guys, getting my 2.0 black next week. Planning on changing the rims asap. Was thinking of Wedssport SA70 17" replica. Any dealers to recommend?

all bros here, another question, i am planning to retint the ecotint security film, as the IRR is kinda low, and I prefer a cool car.
SA advised me to tear out the original film, and retint it, cause with double tint, warranty will be void for the original tint, as well as the new tint. Is that true? If yes, what security tint is good? SA recommend Raytech, as Vkool is seriously too expensive for me. Tks..... |

QUOTE(mryellow19 @ Feb 14 2011, 04:04 PM) I'm not sure about other tint, but as for me the warranty for the new tint is still valid. There is no dispute about voiding my new tint's warranty. I layered it on top of EcoTint. hmm, tks for the info bro. let me ask more tint shops first, as I asked 2 shops, both say will void. |

QUOTE(mryellow19 @ Feb 14 2011, 04:11 PM) My SA gave me voucher to tint from CW. After tinting, they even gave me the warranty card to be kept. Might be different shop i guess. Hope you get to find one that will not void your warranty. Tks! The shops that I asked said, if got air bubbles after installation, I won't be able to claim. Gg!p/s: I'm not sure why they say will void warranty since you're layering it on top of the old one. I don't see any problems unless the first layer starts to rot lol |

QUOTE(Poadster @ Feb 14 2011, 05:27 PM) Dont worry about it... just cross the bridge when you reach it... hope it goes well.... dear all bros, thank you all for your adv. Now for sure, if I really do tint, I will re-tint, and not double tint. For others thinking to double tint, reconsider.... i have and decided i will live with mine... for now... 2K++ can do much to the car... rims, VS, grounding, bumpers, exhaust.... all money suckers.... |

QUOTE(lee0125 @ Feb 17 2011, 04:54 PM) agree with Zuladha. JPJ is always fast, it depends on your SA. My previous car, i got the registration done in 3 hours including the queue time. actually, I already have my number....i bought it last weekbasically, before they can surrender the car to you, what needs to be processed? I will bug my SA very soon. |

QUOTE(XCInspire @ Feb 21 2011, 04:54 PM) Come for TT and you can see the mods for real n decide what u want (am sure u will want everything!). More importantly is get to know more friends. No need to change tint, its a good tint, ecotint 6mil security film at the sides... if like this, maybe i delay the tint till much later then..tks..but rims is a definite! |

QUOTE(SothysSaleShop @ Feb 28 2011, 12:21 AM) Not sure if it can last 10k or not, but the normal practice is to replace the oil filter for each engine oil change, I have done the 5k service outside, and indeed our cars is fitted with ORI Mitsubishi oil filter, which cost me RM28 to change it outside. Its a small price to pay for a piece of mind. hmm, if thats the case, even if i use full syn, still recommend to still have a 5k interval service? Just want to know all your bro's preferences, tks.For everyone's reference on how it looks like, please open the spoiler below. Click on the picture to enlarge it. Please insist to use this oil filter if and when you want to bring your car outside for this 5k service. Only at 10k I will go back to SC as I need to fulfill the warranty's T&C as I hate to make appointment and need to wait few hours just for an oil change. Hope this helps you. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(darkangel7 @ Feb 28 2011, 09:28 AM) If you're thinking of servicing every 5k interval, you can save money by using semi-syth. With fully synthetic might as well service at 10k intervals. allrite bro. tks.Added on February 28, 2011, 9:30 am congrats and welcome!! updated you up front!! also just changed to wedssport sa55m rims 18", due to all the recommendation of 18s here. |
