QUOTE(tenno @ Feb 18 2011, 12:32 AM) Had my first puncture yesterday.. my wife was driving the car to work, lucky I went out just after she went.. 2 screws punctured my rear right side tyre... my house is near construction site.. The Inspira's jack is damn lousy.. I dunno with what we're supposed to turn the (I dunno what to call it) jack, but I can't find anything in the emergency bag... that slowed the process of changing the tyre... haih.. gotta get other off the shelf jack la.... I'm not really someone who complains .. but the jack was just damn lousy... It's stated in ur manual... manual is very important thing to read when u get a new car. If u have read ur manual 1st then u wont have this complain |

Even i met 1 guy who after see my car said to his fren, 'inspira use old engine from mitsubishi'... i just kept quiet and let him did his very ' cocky talk'
Added on February 21, 2011, 1:06 pm QUOTE(Echo^fish @ Feb 21 2011, 12:58 PM) first time using sport mode .. first impression was like.. wow!! 1st gear then jump to 2nd next 3rd.4th... When u see the engine graph then u know why.. and it better like that so that if u stress ur engine to much (Revv to high) ur engine's lifespan will be short. the power just kept coming... only try it once since it is my mom car.. but i notice.. after 6K rpm (when shifted from 1st into 2nd n to 3rd gear)... feel no kick ar.. can tell me y? Revving too high at long period of time will increase engine temperature. At that temp, many engine component start to melt. Which is not good to ur pocket money. Ok about forte... eventough 2.0 version is using same basic engine, besides the MIVEC and CVVT... the other diff is, the engine block of MIVEC is full aluminium which is very light compare with forte where only head is aluminium

QUOTE(ckk125 @ Feb 22 2011, 08:15 PM) Bro, u got super bright parking light over there Bro, can u post a pic when u switch on both headlight and parking light. I want to see if the parking light overshadow the headlight. Another thing about the UR strut bar, If u guy check to the mounting base, actually it is not flat, there are 3 small bumps exist at the mounting base. 1 of the bump is been sitting by the strut bar thus creating a gap between the 2 surfaces. This is because the surface mount the UR strut bar is flat. When this is happen, there is an overstress created at one the mounting screw, which is the end. Thus the welding joint become weak and easily crack. It's happen to me. The 1st strut bar crack at the welding joint, but since i bought it from the distributor, i got a replacement for free. Now im using the 2nd strut bar. Now after 1and half month i used it there is a small sign crack. So do you guy experience it too? Added on February 23, 2011, 9:34 pm QUOTE(ckk125 @ Feb 23 2011, 09:10 PM) Had this problem since day 1. Bro, Did that EON Sc servicing lancer too? if yes u can ask them about the problem. If the lancer do have this problem, then proton inherit from mitsubishiwhen go above 110km/h will have this hissing sound. went to eon ipoh on 17th feb and have it checked..foreman opened the window seals and put it back and did several high speed runs, even took out the visor and cant find out why. before i left, he adjust the door to close deeper and now the sound only comes from 120-130kmh onwards. what you bros thing could be the problem? i ask eon ipoh to change the weatherstrip but now they say need to ask proton mechanic to check, do test runs again which im not keen on.(eventhough eon foreman confirms that there is such sound). now, cant do much till around end of May, will be busy with my exams in usm kubang kerian. Called eon customer service and tomorrow she'll call me back to update me on the situation. This post has been edited by alam_lara: Feb 23 2011, 09:34 PM |

Cool... now goin to get that LED light
Bro, after watch ur video, mine also have that hissing too.... but im starting to hear it after 90km/h and become louder as the speed increasing. im suspecting the rubber band both at the door and also at the body. i found that the rubber band is too soft especially at the front body and also at the back door. Ok here i post the pictures regarding the UR strut bar... the picture shud explain more Note: u guy cant see the crack coz it too small... and my Handphone Flash lite not so good Attached thumbnail(s) |

hmm.. speed cut in term of RPM or km/h? If in RPM it shud be good since it protect the engine (if not mistaken Forte got RPM cut). If km/h then it is like u buy merc but u can only use it as a satria... lol

QUOTE(darkangel7 @ Feb 26 2011, 08:02 PM) Yes, the kenwood one. The one otromen has. I'm asking my friend in Japan to source out for me. But I need part number so he can check out the price. Perhaps if much cheaper can do group buy? Hehe if u source out from japan it may be a japan spec... unless the part number u give is same with what lancer use here.Added on February 26, 2011, 10:23 pmthere is a way to check it.. go to EON SC which service lancer.. go to to part counter and ask the part number This post has been edited by alam_lara: Feb 26 2011, 10:23 PM |

QUOTE(ThunderGod_Cid @ Feb 27 2011, 08:46 PM) It would be to reflash your ECU's software so that the ignition timing and fuelling can be altered, and spped cut can be removed, if you have one. I have to check if you guys use the same ECU as the LGT. If yes, then I can optimize the fuel and ignition so that your engine will gain some power and be more fuel efficient. No need for e-manage FYI, LGT and inspira ECU is not same. It is coded differently. Inspira didnt have speed cut off. summore when u altered the fuelling to gain power then it wont be fuel efficient anymore.... |

QUOTE(vivawish @ Feb 28 2011, 12:08 PM) Bro, it was me, the white 1.8CVT. Bro, join Proton Inspira Owner Club (POIC)... a lot of info from other owner as well.... u will be poisoned...Since our car don't have the auto lock while we reached certain speed or pressing the brake, and don't have the lock switch on the door control panel, i decided to put additional control system to the lock lor. The car will lock once i press the brake pedal, and there's a lock/unlock switch at the center console now. I find it more secure now since i always forgot to lock my door while driving it around. Any good? it depends on your personal needs, kakakaka. Cheers |
