I doubt can last 10k. So better go back to SC for 5k service but the cost you will have to bear it in full as it's not included in the FREE service package.

QUOTE(gildan2020 @ Feb 27 2011, 11:27 PM) Not sure if it can last 10k or not, but the normal practice is to replace the oil filter for each engine oil change, I have done the 5k service outside, and indeed our cars is fitted with ORI Mitsubishi oil filter, which cost me RM28 to change it outside. Its a small price to pay for a piece of mind. For everyone's reference on how it looks like, please open the spoiler below. Click on the picture to enlarge it. Please insist to use this oil filter if and when you want to bring your car outside for this 5k service. Only at 10k I will go back to SC as I need to fulfill the warranty's T&C as I hate to make appointment and need to wait few hours just for an oil change. Hope this helps you. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

for a businessman that do not deliver as promised, not once but many times, is always a red flag as to how much you can trust such a guy with your car

QUOTE(underworld @ Mar 9 2011, 09:07 AM) the cost of the HU alone is in the region of RM3.2k, what is the difference? I have no chance to compare those HU selling at RM2k or mitsu's, can't comment on it.but this one comes with 2 years warranty, LCD display is much sharper and quality of the components inside is assured, as flyaudio is a branded HU OEM manufacturer |

QUOTE(XCInspire @ Mar 9 2011, 09:55 AM) Can hear a pin drop in ur car now.... Dont say until its that silent inside, still can hear wind and some road noise, at least now the volume of the speakers can stay consistent during the whole journey instead of tuning the volume up and down like last time to counter the road noise. I have no prior experience with other damping material, so I cant comment. All of them as long as reputable brand should get the job done decently.QUOTE(cybersonic23 @ Mar 9 2011, 11:53 AM) hahaha, same here... my passenger played dead space on his iphone paired to my HU... sound damn cun wei... My new HU, played with it today, and found that I can both play (CD/Radio/DVD) and use GPS at the HU display at the same time, both front speakers became the navigation voice for the driver and both back speakers continued to play whatever that is playing on the HU player. So during navigation, rear passengers can still enjoy their movie and music while I continue to slave in front as the driver.but there's 1 thing i didn't like was that when i paired the phone to the HU, then switch on the GPS, i need to change the HU mode to BT Audio then only able to listen to the directions given by the GPS... cannot listen to other music ade... not even radio... And my HU also can read my fuel tank gauge and also if I have a tire pressure monitor sensor at my tires, this HU can help monitor tire pressure as well, This post has been edited by SothysSaleShop: Mar 9 2011, 02:34 PM |

QUOTE(cybersonic23 @ Mar 9 2011, 03:36 PM) earlier u said the HU alone costs 3.2k... what about installation? where did you get it done? this is damn poisoning man!!!!! same place where I did my soundproofing, JP Enterprise, Dataran Sunway, installation cost add another RM 100, so it's best to install the cameras while you are at it, can nego the price abitAdded on March 9, 2011, 4:24 pm QUOTE(XCInspire @ Mar 9 2011, 04:08 PM) Link to fuel gauge?? How is this done? Tire pressure too? With this link, will the GPS tell u.. "I'm sorry, but you do not have enough fuel to reach your destination. Please refuel at the next petrol station.... Now turn right to the petrol station". this feature is not linked to GPS, it was hidden somewhere at settings area, I came across it while fondling my HU, since you mentioned it, I want to try and see if the HU will give me warning of low fuel at it's own display. But tire pressure do give out warning if any of the 4 tire pressure goes below your preset figure, so I think HU's fuel warning will tie in with our ECU when it sends out the low fuel warning at our odometer display. Logically it should work that way, once tested and confirmed I will post it here This post has been edited by SothysSaleShop: Mar 9 2011, 04:24 PM |

QUOTE(XCInspire @ Mar 9 2011, 04:32 PM) Wei.. fondling?? Tire pressure? U installed the monitoring system? How much? HU linked to ECU? Gosh, no wonder u fondling it.. YEAH, fondling AND molesting too (not going to share details here I didnt add tire pressure monitoring system (yet), as I didn't know this HU can support it, just surprise it could, just wonder if the system is expensive or not |
