I have a problem with my new vita. My vita after charge, the home button display blue light but cant turn on. Any suggestions?
I had the same problem too. take out your PSVita game card, and press and hold the power button(not just 20 seconds as officially said, more like 1 minute).
So far what I do to cause this problem
- the system is turned off when you charge + - you are charging with the USB cable connected to a PC, or any other device that has a USB port instead of official charger + - your vita game card is inside when you are charging(I still need to try charging without the game card though)
1. Expect further price cuts for PSV (hope to expect USD 199 or less for the WiFi version) 2. If Sony is listening, open up more accounts (similar to PS3) 3. Drop the prices of the memory cards. 4. Drop the prices of the games
Why? Look at how many articles on PSV floundering in the 2nd week of sales below.
1. Not likely, in terms of hardware the Vita is even better than IPAD 2 and is already selling for lower price than IPAD 2
2. This may be possible, it is just a firmware update
3. ok, lets put in a comparison: 16 GB version of IPAD2 and 32 GB version of IPAD2 has RM300 gap, so according to Apple, RM300 is a reasonable price for 16GB of memory.
4. I'm not sure how you think the games are expensive, unless you only look at Uncharted Golden Abyss.
I got the value pack and I don't have any AR cards. You sure you not looking at some US or EU advertisement. I think they will include AR cards for US versions.
The answers to those questions would only matter if your livin gin Japan. If you are in japan, asking their telco operator would be easier right?
Aiyo it is more like exploring the reasons on why the sales like this. Yes it is locked to docomo and our local retailers when import also bring in WIFI set from Japan only, while they can bring in the 3G set from Hong Kong.
It may be a factor. but it is hard to be sure that is the real reason.
I just bought a 2nd hand UMVC3 from another gamer. But when I launch it, there's an message saying "Only the first player to use an application can earn trophies. To earn trophies, you must delete all date related to this application and then start the application"
Means..I can't earn trophies?? And the worst part..the game is fully in jap..don't even understand how to delete
Do you know how to go into the Live Area Edit mode(the one where you can rearrange icon and set wallpaper)?
in that mode select the "..." on the UMVC3 icon, a "Delete" option will appear, just delete it there, do note that your UMVC3 card need to be in the PSVita when you do this. Afterwards remove your UMVC3 card and insert it again, your UMVC3 icon will appear again, fresh as new.

I would like to also point out that Glasses-free 3D display is not that far away. I would rather wait for that instead of stuck with a pair of glasses.
ok already. Phew... Pushing on/off button until the ps home button turn off the blue light. Terrible psvita. Sony should gave us 2 button. On and Off. Also let us pull the battery. Much more convenience... For me. Cipan betul .\/.
I notice this happens when I try to use PC usb port to charge with UMVC3 game still inside the Vita.
the codec that the vita support HD is only H.264/MPEG-4 AVC, other than that no support, most I have to convert them to the codec file beofre I can play it on the Vita, oh and also MP4 format also support HD, try download HD video from youtube and transfer it to vita, can play one
all my videos nowadays are MP4 as it is the most widely usable HD format, glad I made the right choice
noticed a slight 'lump' at the back of the Vita. sending it back for replacement. any of you guys have this lump? its right under the rear touch pad.
I'm surprised at what people can notice these days. I took mine under some light and found the same lump that you shown. I would have missed it completely if you did not mention it.
Let me know if this valid for warranty replacement. I may send in mine as well.
NICE! i was already waiting for a battery pack to be announced. Im interested but the grip doesn't look very good. But if it can truly triple battery life, (which could range 10-12 hours) then YES definitely
interesting indeed, may get one off these when my Vita's battery life goes down to hard to use level a couple years down.
