I brought my FIFA 12 Xbox 360 takde manual takde orang complain pun?  hmm.gif
*
because EA has been doing it for nearly one year, people are done complaining. I don't like that they forgoes the manual as well, it just feels like they are removing stuff away from us original game supporter. I don't read them much, but it just feels like a novelty to have them after paying premium price for the games.

That and if download versions are really cheaper I may actually go for download versions. and buy physical version for games that include manuals just to show my support.

The way i look at it, you're pointing out my mistake (YES, i said my mistake) cos i am labeling it as new news.
But to me, It's like i open a new thread and u're focusing on the title instead of the content of the thread itself.
So go on continuing harping on the fact that i labelled it wrongly, but it isn't going to change the fact that the PSV still has this problem
eventhough u knew about it 6 months ago. Problem is still here.
lol.... this one is really..... facepalm.
Man, not only are u failing to understand what i'm trying to imply, you came out with your own conclusion and answers to something noone is talking about.
Since you can't comprehend short versions, let me give u in point form.... that should help u to understand right ???

- 1 console = 1 user
- Safe to assume everything from the user's settings, gamesaves will be tied to that user (or it may not, it really depends on the game).
- User is tied by the mstick AND console, that's why u can't just slot in diff mstick to get diff users. (read this)
- So in the event that ur PSV dies.... you buy a new PSV and put in ur mstick.... it doesn't register, cos diff console.

Thank you King83, despite a quite a few page back, out of respect I feel that I need to give your a proper reply.

now quoting the post

QUOTE
Sony noted that in order to switch PSN accounts on Vita, it requires a full system restore — not a mere swapping of Memory Cards.

doing a factory reset will just not wipe out settings but clear all data tied to that PSN account from the Memory Stick — including save data.

Things are still up in the air, what happens if you do a factory reset when the memory card is not in it? obviously the memory card will not be wiped, will it work if you put it in again with the same account of the PSVita?

This is a hassle King83, I'm not admitting that it is simple, nor am I happy with the single account approach myself(I have multiple accounts on my PS3 too). Assuming you are also a Malaysian that has multiple accounts just to access stores in different regions. I can understand where you are coming from. Which actually make this discussion a lot more easier to go by.

I've in a US centric forum before. And those guys don't believe it when I say we have multiple accounts to access different stores and PSVita being region free is a very big selling point over region locked 3DS. The fact is, most of their market/customer base won't care as much as we do. and with the rise of multiplayer gaming, The COD crowd which was a big portion of the market, a lot of these ppl that play games because their friends are playing and only play one type of game simply don't care. They are a big market(unlike us in a small SEA market) and easily satisfied(unlike us who go far and dig deep into our games).

Added on December 21, 2011, 2:14 amI think I hit the character count, to sum up, it is common for a consumer device, it is designed to aim at the most general market of the gamers. very few people used the PSN the way we do.

To end the note, I by all means not trying to defend Sony for what was done here, just pointing out the reasoning behind it. Despite my feelings we still have to see the mind of business behind the decision. You may raise your point, and a good point raised has much more chance to gain attention and credit. the Saying should not be "Why are you not letting me do this" but rather "Why you should let me do this".

And I mentioned COD, I by all means do not mean everyone that plays COD is shallow and just follows the flow. We do have gamers that genuinely enjoy the game and dedicated to it.

I am not anti Sony,
in fact on the contrary, i am a PS fanboy.

I have been in this PS forum long enough to know sjneow is an old timer
and surely you also know i'm been around for a while now.

The only reason i am disappointed is because i really wanted a PSV initially.
Then i found out all this.

Trust me, if i didn't care, i wouldn't give this issue a thought for even 2 seconds !!!

cheers dude, just that it feels that you are really out of yourselves today. Anyway did we manage to make this thread the most updated for the day in Playstation section of the forum? brows.gif

I beg to differ.
Check the US PS Blog for an easy example.
Nothing is ever good enough for the vast majority of American/western gamers.

They can even complain when a (fairly new) game is sold for $30,so just imagine.

If anything, we asians are the easily satisfied bunch.
When was the last time you heard any of your fellow malaysians calling a RM50 game "expensive"?

I would love to meet this person. Very rare.

But yet you tell a westerner to spend $50 on a game, he acts like he's breaking the bank.

It's thanks to these hard to satisfy people that we get to reap the benefits of their demands.

Another thing, check out the Japan store and compare it to the US store. US Store content easily trumps the japenese store,IMHO.

I was referring to bunch to COD gamers. you wanna bet how much of them bother to check the Playstation blog sweat.gif

Visitors of Playstation blog is hardcore enough to be naggy. and don't tell me you don't met people that buys RM10 game anymore.

PS: mods don't lock this thread, I do not intend it to be "that" discussion

issit all ps3 game can play on ps vita?

no, just one of the pitch Sony make is it is so powerful that it is the closest you can get for a portable PS3. And it is made in a way that PS3 games can be easily ported, or games on PS3 can be made so that you can play it on PSVita via remote play.

Things that internet can do nowadays, all the rumours flying around....

Looks like LBP is not even a launch window title, which is actually nice though, they can split the game release into one new SCEA game a month to keep the hype up.

I was initially excited for Disgaea 3, but I saw video that they are not using the touch screen, it sort of disappointed me a little. Disgaea grinding on the go with the touch screen would be awesome.

In fact, all turn based game would benefit from the touchscreen smile.gif

SG PS3 won't repair even with warranty or payment? what's the deal?

I know the VITA is compact and it's part might be expensive but PS3 really?
*
Most likely, in according to the "Official" sales of PS3 in Malaysia, Sony Main Corp only allows Sony Malaysia to hire and train a certain headcounts of technicians(enough to handle Malaysia's warranty claim and repairs). Thus if they accept to repair Singapore set, those poor souls will have increased workload(far more than what is expected), So they will not accept to repair any items that is not sold by Sony Malaysia.

That's how business works really, this applies to almost anything, you buy from another country, be prepared to accept this.

For $10 I would guess it's Sound Shapes or Escape Plan, those are downloadable titles, Little Deviants is still a disc based game afterall.

But indeed, some of the launch games are already $10 off from it's $39.99 RRP, check out gamestop:

http://www.gamestop.com/ps-vita

But Uncharted Golden Abyss is $49.99, I hope this don't become a standard for Vita's high profile game.

wow, that suxx...

imagine done playing a game, all them save games, achievements...etc
and usually you get extras after completing a game.
then switching to other region account, gotta do all over again...  sweat.gif

if using preferred account, let say US account from day 1 you bought it...
then, no PSN and online play for a while...

workaround, download all them demos and other things on PSN,
play, delete, transfer... rinse and repeat...
sounds tedious....

3G doesn't really matter for now as Sony intentionally block multiplayer through 3G. the advantage of 3G is the you can have tweeter and the browser all the time on the go.

Now only everybody golf can use 3G to play multiplayer.
maybe future got more game use 3G

But i think the reason they dont use 3G for multiplayer, cause 3G's high latency....

But there is a way to use 3G to multiplayer, use smart phone as hotspot, become wifi mode, lol
*
yup, Everybody Golf works it's because it is not direct multiplayer, it is turned based. UMVC3 cannot, for example.

Edit: there are some comments floating around the web that Sony should have used 4G instead of 3G, I'm not sure how good 4G is over 3G but is it fast enough for multiplayer?

New Vita owner today biggrin.gif

I already face a problem when you shut it down with the game media card in it and charge it, it will show blue light. and holding the power button down for more than 20 seconds will not on/off it.

When I check the game media card, the LED there is flashing like crazy, I remove the game media card then do the power button 20 seconds again and finally it shutdown :phew:
