most likely no, Singapore PS3 also they won't repair(this is not just about warranty, not even if you are willing to pay)
*
SG PS3 won't repair even with warranty or payment? what's the deal?

I know the VITA is compact and it's part might be expensive but PS3 really?

then the warranty covers for what??

btw should wait for us set or my set??
worried bcause i hear that price went up
*
if Sony is refusing to fix / replace / provide warranty for the VITA; buying any set won't matter

regardless of whether the prices went up, the price of VITA will be high for the first 6 months

Most likely, in according to the "Official" sales of PS3 in Malaysia, Sony Main Corp only allows Sony Malaysia to hire and train a certain headcounts of technicians(enough to handle Malaysia's warranty claim and repairs). Thus if they accept to repair Singapore set, those poor souls will have increased workload(far more than what is expected), So they will not accept to repair any items that is not sold by Sony Malaysia.

That's how business works really, this applies to almost anything, you buy from another country, be prepared to accept this.

I see but otherwise If I buy from SG set from a gameshop - they say send to SG to fix there - requiring payment and delivery fee hmm.gif
Sony MSIA will refuse but gameshop won't, like a freaking paradox here doh.gif

Nope, i actually preordered from www.qisahn.com , instead of forcing me to buy another game i only had to pay an extra RM40 on top of the RM1210 original price. really love that shop, can't find better prices anywhere else  biggrin.gif

QUOTE(eejey @ Dec 26 2011, 08:24 PM)
the best graphic...
i would say any 2d psp game...
and most if not all, the first party titles.

for 3d psp game, might only be slightly better on vita, but not much.

at the end of the day, its just upscaling, a little bit of color correcting and a better smoothing/anti-aliasing.
the texture for the 3d, will just be the same, the same old low resolution texture..
since its not a remastered or anything.

if you want a better looking one, just might as well wait for the new games created especially for vita,
especially those AAA titles...

could be a long wait friend...  whistling.gif
my advice, just enjoy the game... don't think too much about them graphics.

True, putting too much expectation on the VITA will ultimately dissapoint but what I've seen so far from UC:GA does not dissapoint and almost impressive for a portable to run.

I'd say the VITA will give a run for your money if you leave out it's flaw and issues

There's also if you buy the retail games from the PSN itself will be cheaper but there is slight difference from running from ROM and SD card which is the delay of loading of 2 - 4 seconds

Looks like sharing is only working on free content (example, game demos). Paid contents won't work:
Well, doesn't work with paid content. I had lots of JP content when I reset my system to use the HK store, Vita refused to use the memory card unless I formatted it. [/quote]

For now, the only games I think worthy to get:
Uncharted: Golden Abyss
Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3
Dynasty Warriors Musou Next
Lord of Apocalypse
Katamari Damacy No-Vita

Coming Soon:
Dark Quest Alliance
Dragon Crown
Disgaea 3 (They'll probably port the 4th one too)
Tales of Innocence R
Street Fighter R vs Tekken
Ragnarok Odyssey
Gravity Daze

Correct me if I forgot to add in somemore

But i saw some hong kong ppl saying the Near works fine in Wifi Model too.

Ouch, I'm so unlucky to be the 10% who got stuck/dead pixel on my device sad.gif

It's only one dead pixel not the stain screen plague of the vita so your quite lucky it's not the whole thing

Disregard previous post. The GPS/location feature works now. It's very picky when it comes to coverage. Need to stand on really open sky area, instead of just by the window.

Next question would be if the Near feature works when the user travels outside of the region he signed up with. For travelers who travel a lot, if it means enabling Near = having to carry multiple memory cards with multiple PSN region accounts, that's worth a forehead slap.

you a mean a lot self b!tch slap (pardon my language laugh.gif )
