I love this movie the minute the opening scene started...  Mr. Trejo, Mr. De Niro, Ms. Alba and even Mr. Seagal are all great in this one!    Will only grab this bd when price drop below $15 though... 

Red , Piranha , A Beautiful Mind are nice movies , Buried is scary . 

The movie is nice , watched it last week . Cant imagine myself in that situation . Yeah its a 25GB disc , 2 Disc Set .

I watched "I Spit On Your Grave" remake last week . Its violent the way she takes revenge on the guys who raped her . Really scary bro .

The Shawshank Redemption

I watched this movie so many times on so many different platform . Watched it first on laser disc , then on VCD and DVD , finally got the BD .  This is a real classic movie with good PQ and AQ . Unfortunately the BD doesnt come with much high-def extras. Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman as two imprisoned men bond over a number of years, finding solace and eventual redemption through acts of common decency. This is a must get BD . Highly rated by IMDB also at 9.2/10 . 

My dad used to own a laser disc player and the disc was super expensive . We used to rent LD`s . Really awesome . 

BD technology is good successor to LD as VCD and DVD was never a good replacement for LD . The PQ and AQ of a BD is definitely better than a LD . I enjoyed watching LD during the 90`s but the BD technology is exciting and access to movies are more than then time LD `s was the technology .Unfortunately during that time we had the LD player the LD `s were so expensive and we were only able to rent them. The size of the LD was also huge and was prone to damage . I hated flipping the disc to watch the 2nd part of the movie as sometimes the movies are long and needed more space . Bd`s resolved many of the issue that LD`s had . I prefer BD`s anytime over LD`s .

Yeah , its a very good deal . My uncle worked on the movie as well . He did the cinematography for this 2 movies .

His name is Remi Adefarasin  . He worked on Band Of Brothers , The Pacific , Scoop , Little Fockers and some other movies . He is a cinematographer actually .

Yeap , he won the BAFTA Film Award for Best Cinematography for: Elizabeth (1998).  I met him during the time he was filming The Pacific .    I didnt ask him for any BD`s . lol
