This Superlux really not bad la. Maybe if wait a few more months they will come out with something that can rival headphones like HD650, K701 etc...

they need only Rm100 plus to make sth of 80 to 90 percent performance of DT770. I think if they double the cost to RM300, they willl be able to make something almost 95 percent performance of HDHD650, K701 etc.

HD668 sounds somewhat near (slightly better) than DT770 right out of the box, without amplification.

Hmm I've tried the HD668 with amp(RSA Shadow), It sound decent for a headphone with that price, price vs performance is good, but the mids isn't there, treble is very sharp >.<, bass is quite muddy.......
However the DT770 with amp is a different story. Please bear in mind that Beyer DT770 is a 250ohm impedence phone, it cannot work properly without amping. So, comparing without amp is not fair, so is comparing a 150+ bucks stuff with a 1000bucks stuff is not fair either. If the price is neglegted, DT770 simply just smoked the superlux HD668. I'm not saying that HD668 is not good, it is very competent headphone that sits well in it's price. Very competitive priced product. Conclusion: DT770 vs HD668 = cannot compare XD Maybe similarly priced creative or razer headphones, superlux just owns them. But vs audiophile range stuff, they stil have a long way to go.
Just my 2 cents, no offence ya TQ

But I had something better now XD, I start off with a cheapass AT headphones whice somewhat underperform compare to this, U guys are lucky to hav this. maybe coz I've used to highend amp driven stuffs. But this is a good place to start off as a hobby. Great stuffs for beginers.

Hahaha... very true, 1 is bright, 1 is warm... that's why i said the fella bought an expensive headphone that's not suitable for his taste. Or... he just got bored with warm sounding, and turn to the bright side.

Don't WAR, Superlux is just a headphone... a cheapo one (this is a positive fact), we just need to enjoy the music. I own Beyerdynamic DT880 250ohm (which i like very much) and Samson SR850 (Same driver as Superlux 668B, also like very much)... every headphones somehow have different sounding, either you like it, if you don't like it, just buy other headphones.

Don't read too much reviews, listen it and judge yourself... if your ear tell you it's nice, then it's sure nice. tongue.gif
