QUOTE(CoolBoy89 @ Feb 9 2011, 10:43 AM) Yes, it feels slightly plasticky indeed. For the SQ, some of the reviewers even compared the hd381f with those high-end IEMs like Westone UM3x, UE TF10, Shure SE530,etc.. So you guess? huh? what? compare with multiple drivers IEM and it is comparable? they are serious or joking? then those ppl who bought those IEM will consider stupid because of buying overprice IEM??? all those big company such as UE, westone, Shure definitely going to close down soon because of superlux?? review? i dont trust review, those random ppl behind "computer" are totally not reliable at all. i even saw ppl did review and comparison with just only one earphone, i wonder how creditability will that be.
those are just personal opinion. those 3 IEM can comparable with multiple drivers IEM? i seriously doubt so. try it and compare then you will know i believe experience more then words

"Comparable" seriously, i personally own a few multiple drivers IEM and i tried Superlux before, i dont really conclude they are "comparable".
as you mentioned, they spend alot of money on R&D as well, the multiple driver crossover, drivers positioning, the sound tuning, the major refinement , the final micro details tuning of Balance armature driver, all of them are spending money on this part, thats why are they can provide this type of sounding.
marketing? i dont really see big brand such as westone, ortofon, final audio, earsonic advertise in magazines, billboard, MV compare with monster product
comparable means on par. so with cheaper in price for more then 10 times can compare with them?
i hope ppl shouldnt post misleading guide
just my 2 cents and opinion

QUOTE(trio @ Mar 5 2011, 12:16 PM) normally coz of superlux driver range can go very high and very low, ppl tends to dislike the extreme high end of the spectrum that cannot be heard previously with other headphone. but with 681, that shouldnt be the case. so maybe your setup not sync with 681 or they are bright. hihi, just wanna to share the opinion, as XSI mentioned, the sharp is much for him int he treble. extreme high end spectrum actually dont provide " treble is too harsh ", it is the tuning part they can perform, how well the handle on that part, high end cans provide controllable and nice gripping on the extension on treble, with the borderline of reaching sharp/harsh, if 681 providing this type of sounding, it's considering a bright headphone will less control on the treble part, with the enhance power by the E9 amplifier, it will amplify the treble even more sharper.
Added on March 14, 2011, 2:42 amIf Price is 4 digits, maybe.....
they need only Rm100 plus to make sth of 80 to 90 percent performance of DT770. I think if they double the cost to RM300, they willl be able to make something almost 95 percent performance of HDHD650, K701 etc.
i lol hard on this
