What kinda config?
I use equalizers and that's it + the techflex cable.
I prefer lower trebles and it lessen the bright sound a lot. I'm more to mids. biggrin.gif

I won't say HD661 got headbangin boom2 bass but it's tight and that's good for me. smile.gif

Playing Mombasa on HD661 is exhilarating. Muddy it ain't.

I bend the rod a lil bit. Noticably comfortable. Can wear for 5/6 hours straight.

I bend the middle rod. It now sports a minuscule curve rather than a full one but still a curve nonetheless. Needs a bit of force. nod.gif

P/S: Sibilance issue are taken cared for. Seems to lessen after a month+ it seems.

No need picture for that. Justusing your two thumbs and clamp it in the middle going upwards. Do on both sides.

Yeah. For earbuds, not a lot of people are fond of it nowadays. Unless you go for Yuin PK3, which is rather hard to find too.

Still kicking with my tissue modded HD661. I love it. Sharp highs are nicer soubding now. Ballad & R&B sounded great with those on. I have a Shure SE215 IEM and it's strikingly different. Those cans are bright and my buds are warm. Perfect for whatever mood I'm in. smile.gif

Any red HD661 users? I thought it would be awesome to list down what colour everyobe owns.

I bend it the opposite direction of the curve. I'm surprised it was that enclosed when unstretched. Now got 1.5inch gap. That says a lot about the clamp eh.

Taobao got some nice and cheap stuff. You guys can do bulk if wanna replacements. Shipping is the killer part.
