668b been outta stock in malaysia for a very long time d. I am the only one in msia bringing in from another country for fellow superlux fans.


Shipment for malaysia will be delayed till end of march. So I dont think anyone can get 668b till then till I bring in again from another supplier.

Hahaha too risky bro. superlux market still very small. What I can do is offer special order for fellow superlux fans here if they have cxeertain model in mind.

normally coz of superlux driver range can go very high and very low, ppl tends to dislike the extreme high end of the spectrum that cannot be heard previously with other headphone.

but with 681, that shouldnt be the case. so maybe your setup not sync with 681 or they are bright.

the reason i said those because 681 is not a bright headphone. andd my first paragraph is not referring to his prob. just merely stating that alot ppl misunderstood in that way.

fyi, alot of ppl regard bright headphone as harsh because they do not like/able to stand the brightness. Eg 668b

It is a great time to get it now since it is dirt cheap now thx to our good forumer despite the 'news' XD

Anyway, to future superlux owners and 'red-eyed' branded headphones fanboys, superlux cans are good. Their performance are well above their price but pls do not misunderstand and expect it to perform like a rm1000 headphones because it does not. This is only good for beginner in this hobby, or music lovers without budget, non enthusiastic. If you have the money or want something better, by all means you can go to get those really good audiophile level headphones. However, that being said, I still luv superlux! XD

Currently testing another brand's headphone that looks alike with 668b(90% similar). Impression so far not bad but the comfort and the build quality are alot better. The headphone can actually auto adjust and swivel. A soft leather pad and band. No detachable cable though. However this going to cost more than 668b.

Hmm 681 and 668b actually are quite diff products :S

I found this one particular product, samson sr850. It is a brand from US. It looks like superlux hd668b. It comes in a more proper and neat packaging but in a thin plastic box instead of hardpaper box like 668b.

So far my first impression on it is it has stronger bass than 668b.

But the price will be more expensive than 668b though. Still in discussion with supplier regarding price. Will start the sales on this rite after the price been decided. Actually, I thought of substituting 668b with this product if the performance and price is the same since my supplier have this ready stock but it seems that price differs quite abit. Sound wise, I will drop a short impression on it in this thread later in this upcoming week
