Pada 3hari lepas pada 23haribulan/ahad aku beli Phone Bold 9000,pergh dalam thread cun tip2 condition,baik dari ladang ternakan sabak bernam...so time cod dalam jam 9.30 malam ahad tu aku pun jumpa buyer utk COD...ok laa test kat situ gao2 kata dia,aku pun test paling teror dalam idup..aku pun berpuas hati then balik,esoknyer saja,tgh duk main2 twiter,fb kat phone bold yg terbaik dari ladang ni,tiba2 blank screen..ehh aku ckp,takpelah aku trus restart then try...owww dah ok,sat lagi main2 lagi blank screen lagi...."ehhh apahal ni"...so aku buat keputusan utk ke kedai telefon,cina kedai tu ckp battery..so dengan baik hati aku pun keluarkan laa RM60 utk batter local...waaa dah bangga dah confirm ok ni,balik rumah dengan hati gembira,then esoknyer pulak pada 25haribulan selasa benda yg sama berlaku,main2 trus dia blank screen...waaa...ni xboleh jadi so telefon laa trade ni....toik..dia kata xdpt refund....perghhh terbaik laa trade cina sorang ni...baik sungguh hati dia,tulus

kalau kita cakap TS fully fault, lepas nih senang lah orang nak jual barang fault dalam LYN nih dengan status: "NO WARANTY/superb/working condition/cant test on cod, but faulty hidden inside depend on your luck if u can find it before pay me. after paying u find the faulty then babai"

logik ke on COD we do test handphone:

1. Play song for at least 5 song
2. open browser and others on9 application
3. playing movies or video clip at least for 10 minute
4. make test call for 5 minute also video call
5. test others application at least 3 apps
6. playing game at least 5 minute
7. open all setting 1 by 1
8. try bluetooth or infrared or wifi if available
9. try camera and saving picture or video
10. plug in charger to ensure them charging

at least all of this you do so. you confident there was no fault...
but, do ppl do it? logically NO...so? how come test kao kao can been done to proven there ws no faulty?

haizzz...not reasonable using term test kao kao to beleive mah...the point is, be honest! dont sell faulty thing and let the buyer accept that was buyer's fault no to test kao kao mah...u got the money, give them personal waranty laaa

to mamak 24H, and sit there and Test Kao Kao for 6-8 or even 12 hours.

memang betul kita handak Test Kao kao, tapi jangan la sampai begini melampau. Seller yang tulen juga akan naik darah tau kalau test satu handphone hingga 10 jam.

Sebelum COD, beritahu seller bahawa kita hendak Test Kao Kao. Kalau phone itu tidak bermasalah, seller itu sepatutnya takkan bantah jika kamu tak kata kamu hendak Test hingga sepuluh jam.

i'm the seller here.
ok let's see from my side,
i got this phone a day before i met TS,
tested everything from my customer side. did all the probability test and it's running fine at my side.
left it running for 1 whole day nothing seems weird.
Hence, i posted out a topic to sell it off.
Why i do not want to provide warranty? Cause this is a second hand item and i normally do not provide as what my partner has been doing for so far in this line of business.

1, if there's any problem of the phone the next day, why don't he just sms/call me telling me that this thing happen? Don't tell me i'm too far from you. I'm oblige to help you out.
2, you sent it to another mobile phone shop to check on your phone then once it cannot be solved then you come back to me? If everything is not right after 1 day of your purchase you should just turn back to me and tell me. Like all my previous second hand buyers. Everything has been resolved since then and from then. there might be chances that the other shop has changed and anything? I've been doing trade in for so long. The problem i faced has been resolved thoroughly cause my buyers has all been patient with me all the time.
3, you got the msg from me saying it's all your fault because u threatened that your dad wanna see me. saying ur dad is an inspector. I offered you to meet at bukit aman to resolve this case yet you say it's raining? (is that a reason?)
4, why do i offer to meet u at bukit aman? cause the way you sms me seems like you're planning an ambush on me.

You guys here can judge it yourself. As for the SMS i'll just provide you guys through screenshot if you guys would like to know more of this case.

I think the trader is not wrong in this case, I do understand the feeling of TS too as he/she bought something that is having problem. I understand the frustration as I have faced in many times especially buying second hand product in KL, such as Pertama, SG Wang, etc..Some of the things we cant test "kaw kaw" such as suddenly reboot, screen blank, random vibration or even battery overheat issue after making 2 hours call..

I still remember I bought the N95 for Rm500 which test kaw kaw. When I balik, only realise the battery "kong" in 6 hours after fully charge, so went and bought a fake battery with 1 week warranty cost me Rm45 that time, after 2 weeks, the battery suddenly become "fat", and I bought another "better quality" Rm60..which is fake also with 3 months warranty...After I used that battery for 2 weeks it become "fat" again, I send it back to warranty but the seller said I have to wait...So I bought another battery and cost me Rm50(after discount) coz I have to use my phone, and the battery dead again after 1 week. I sent the phone back to the shop and ask them is the phone crazy??? Keep make the battery bloated, the guy told me N95 is like that, I have to buy Ori battery, which cost RM180 !!! Of coz I din buy and I trade in the phone to the shop for RM300...

...After I calculated everything, the money I spent on the phone + batteries is almost equal to a new set with proper warranty.

The lesson I learnt, it's not worth to spend on 2nd stuff, unless we know some good technicians , or we have strong knowledge and can fix anything ourself. Those spare parts is very cheap and can be bought in lowyat plaza or pudu, but since Im not born with those skills, i would nvr go for 2nd hand goods.

If i am the trader, I would not refund to you. Simple, even though the problem is real, there are many con man in lowyat.net, I know some people will try to cheat the trader by replacing the hardware, I am not saying about the TS, but as he is doing business, there are precautions. I have a trader fren in lowyat.net, he was selling a Fujitsu laptop 15" screen, he sold to a customer in lowyat.net. After the next day, the customer called and ask for refund coz the screen is not working, and my fren refunded and try to verify the problem, only he realised that the customer had replaced a faulty 15" screen to his laptop. That screen cost him Rm750 to replace a new one.

So standing on both trader and TS shoes, I think we all must becareful when buying 2nd hand goods. I hope TS will have experience in deadling with BB which might help TS. I know sometimes there are bugs can be fixed without spending a single cents, or worst case, the trader can help the TS to fix the problem cheaper.

TS
-bought a phone, phone got faulty, tried to exchange with the seller.

Seller
- sold a phone, won't change as TS went to shop to solve the phone problem, claims that TS threatened him with smses.


In the end, TS, what do you want? A place for you to rant out your frustrations or genuinely tying to solve the problem with the seller? From what I can see, you're just trying to vent out your frustrations, spitting out racist remarks and just keep on complaining.


If you want to keep on complaining instead of resolving with the seller, by all means go on keyboard warrior. If not, post something tangible so that we forumers can judge whether you have exhausted all means when you negotiated with the seller.

it seems TS gone mad rather than he seek for solution or justice of the matter.

mods on duty can lock this thread since the problem been settle..

The lesson you can learn for this is rather simple.

Do not buy test gao-gao, kaw-kaw, super-cow, cow and chicken electronic items.

Get those with personal warranty, at the very least 7 days. Because that normally is how long it takes for electronic devices to show fault.

I had a N95 once that intermittedly reboots. Took me one month to find a function that triggers the reboot (Playing the FIFA Demo). It was under warranty, and the idiot technician at Nokia Care didn't do anything but proclaimed the phone Ok. I told her to sit in front of me, and triggered the reboot in from of the whole gallery. The point is this. You won't be able to test anything within a very short time.

After reading through all 4 pages, I understand where the seller is coming from. It's like sending your Vios to another workshop, and after they failed to fix the problems, you send your car back to Toyota Service Center. I doubt Toyota will honor the warranty anymore since it's been tampered before by a 3rd party. Same goes here. Seller will not entertain for a refund because it has been tampered before by a phone shop before and the possibility of swapping with a faulty unit exist, or tampering of phone internal circuit is there. (note, I'm not accusing buyer of anything).

My 2 cents

i do beleive TS was not repairing the phone at that shop...he only come to ask and got advised to change new battery only...

from the story i strongly beleive the phone was not repaired by anyone yet

unless, TS was edit his statement dy

I consider this case Close,no need for refund or whatever,so sorry for all problem that i make, at least to let other people know any thread showing a warranty for nil test kaw2 it cannot be done, at least u must have a 3days or 7days for personal warranty for seller.BTW Honest is the important thing for any thread specially when u deal with so much cost.

i got friend that have same poblom as u.
later ask him where shop he buy it.
he buy SE W980, NEW> one week got poblom,
send back, 1 moth wait, later take back, got poblom again,
send again wait and take back got poblom again.
send other shop, they say IC poblom, send
back to where he buy it, say no more warranty.
"u send other shop, so no warranty"

u angry angry also no use, because in ur case,
no matter how it looks, the seller have "insurance"
covering him, he did state "no warranty".

but i understand ur intention is to spread the news,
so this can be a lesson to us all.
next time, test kao kao means = go to 24H mamak
and play with the phone untll the batt dead.

well what i see its better if u call seller after know its faulty .. but u just send to other shop ..
