 Electric shock via xbox 360 slim, xbox 360 slim get shock

i get electric shocked from my xbox slim! On metal material there(right hand site near open tray button)! Your guys xbox will shocked you? what should i do? Just ignore?

well ur extension socket 's earth wire is not working well. a quick fix is attach a wire to the metal part of ur console and attach the other end to any <insert bodypart> that need to be shocked or u just attach it to the floor.

will get shock when touch the xbox hdd.
mybe got electric leakage.. donno.. just ignore..

yups...mostly from ur tv
only happen if ur tv/monitor using 2 pin plug
since it didnt had ground wire inside
so the electricity will flow to machine connect with ur tv/monitor

but if ur tv/monitor using 3 pin plug and using extension
please open ur extension plug and check the ground wire (normally green yellow colour) is it connect properly

this happens to my xbox when i plug to a faulty wall socket. the wall socket has some grounding problem, i get zaps when i touch the metal parts of the hard disk. any dvd player/astro connected to it i will get zaps too.

your solution is best to call a technician to fix the socket, chances are the problem is not the socket itself but some wiring somewhere in the walls...

Added on January 27, 2011, 11:21 amnot a/v cable problem cause i upplug the cable also get shocked! But i plug to wall socket the problem had fix. Have no get shocked from the metal material. But! I get little little shocked from back side of metal material! Front of metal fix now. And now i just ignore maybe just the socket problem. Never mind cause i will move to another house already
