2 choices:

1. Use tripod.

2. Buy a few external flashes and stands and use wireless flash.

If those both also cannot apply then you are sh*t outta luck!
Last resort - pump ISO to max and then convert to black and white.

Give Jeff another call. You have to bug him. If he sends it to International Camera then it should be fast.

noise is noise, EV is to control exposure, whether to over or under expose the image. over exposing will kill the noise, YES, thats because you are causing the each pixel to be saturated with light, causing it to give a 8-bit number of 11111111 each = total WHITE-out

Upping the EV will result in slower shutter speed. This is fine for stationary subjects but if there is any movements then you will sure to get motion blur.

lwliam: Overexposing with high ISO does not mean oversaturation. Though in a lot of cases, a low-light scene will have a bright light, and the subject is way darker. We only care to expose the subject correctly and can blow out the light - though our Alphas prefer to expose the light correctly, causing underexposure and more noise.

yes true that... but probably due to my nature of shooting; subject correctly exposed, in blowsh's point, majority of the scene will be 'more' over than usual, causing it to appear less noisy
