Oh, so means Overcome is not compatible with KIES. Cannot connect means, when I connect the USB, and when the prompt on my Tab pops up, I choose Samsung KIES but nothing happen. Mass Storage can connect though.

Yes, I do agree with you that it is crappy but I guess there's the only way I can sync back my contacts from my Microsoft Outlook right? Tried to sync to my gmail and sync back to my Tab but lost some of the contacts. Any other option can suggest?

Bro, for the compatible 2A charger that you have, does it shows "USB Connected" when you charge? Or it just shows charging like the original one??

Added on March 26, 2011, 2:51 pmOuch, you have just joined me as a victim that is tied to Digi. I also signed up the contract and got the Tab from digi. Their 3G network is not fully compatible with the Tab. You will always face data drop issue. I've tried and done several network test with so many digi simcards all got prob. Hotlink simcard works like a charm though.

I've emailed them several times but their respond is very disappointing. "Always a smarter choice"?? Dont think so!!

Cool!! Its really hard to get a Tab compatible charger. I bought the Kensington car charger, comes with dual USB port, 1 x 2.1A & 1x 1A. When try to charge it also shows "USB Connected", so its not charging.

Erm, I dont really like the case, especially in horizontal standing position, notice the top part is loose. The more movement the Tab is in the case, the higher the chance the Tab get scratched within the case itself.

Ya, I can confirm that digi 3g will have problem on tab.

You can go for digi + edge if u want to have good battery life as I find that digi edge is best among other celco.

But if u want 3g speed, then don go for digi coz u're gonna regret like me for signing my life to them. Tried at least 4 diff digi sim and tried both diginet & 3gdgnet on all sim, buy also the same. Seeking help from digi is even worse, such waste of time and whatever they ask u to do or troubleshoot are rubbish.

My bad for not making it clearly. Last few weekend when I was in Shah Alam it was working fine. That's the only place that digi 3g is working without problem for me. So far I've tested many places in Penang and all are same. So well, you are lucky if yours is working fine! You have better luck than I am.

Oh, fyi, Im talking about Tab ONLY. I didn't say its not working on other phone as well, did I? My same simcard at the same spot works very fine with my other smartphones and my iPhones too.

And if u still think I am making blanket statement, then just be it. But well if u read back the post, I am not the only one facing the problem. Or am I left in the dark that I am the only having problem?

Added on April 1, 2011, 3:47 amYo bro! Digi 3g data keep dropping. It always timeout then disconnect and reconnect back itself. U will see the 3g/H logo lost and come back. Maxis and celcom working fine, digi 2g also fine.

Good to know bout this! Hmmm, ya, its very pathetic and could probably true bout my unit is faulty. I've brought to Samsung and they told me the same thing, I'm not the only one facing problem with digi. So I go back to digi and they have replaced a new simcard for me but the problem still there. Last time when using stock rom already have this problem, then later upgraded to newer stock rom and now on overcome but the problem still there.

In digi email, they admit its that my location has no full 3g coverage but it in fact funny coz my other phone on digi 3g running at around 800kbps.

So, its still unresolved til now. Gonna change a maxis sim to use with it soon. Maxis speed test is hitting 4Mbps at my area and no data drop.

Anyway, thanks for the location sharing.

Aiks, I thought the stock video also can play 720p mkv plus the support of subtitle? Last time on stock rom it can play but a bit laggy. But now in Overcome it plays very smooth.

I've just installed the modded Google maps v5.2.1 with unlocked Navigation. It works flawlessly. As opposed to Brut's release of v.4.6.0, GMap v5.2.1 is the latest version.
