Nope.

You have to download the client for WoW Taiwan. Your US client won't be able to access Taiwan servers

U are wrong actually. It is able to play wow Taiwan with US client.

Just need to change the realmlist to US.

Check out this thread for more information - http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1609365

I just hope I can login.  When I stopped 3 years back, it was because my account got hacked.  Then i request blizzard reactivate my account, but never play back.  Just hope to use this resurrect to see if my character is still there.  If I still can't, maybe I might go try out the taiwan server.  So the client I download for official wow site can be used for taiwan server?  Just need to change server address?

You can try tomorrow. I'm not sure why it is not working for you now.

And besides, with Cata and WotLK to download, you are looking at around 1 day's worth of downloads

I suspected that. Back when I was working in Myanmar, there are few servers. All I have to do is just change the realmlist address.

Wht u are talking about is private server.

But ya, changing realmlist can play.

Most apparent example is someone who play wowEurope, change realmlist toplay wowUS, therefore no need for 2 client in 1 PC

private server yes.

Changing realmlist, yes too, but blizzard aware of it and will not enforce it. Its in the blue post.

WOW TOS is like your credit card T&C, it covers alot of things to protect Blizz / Bank. but it still depends to Blizz / Bank whether they want to enforce it or not.

Yeah, now that they know your email address, all they need is your password.
Nowadays, it's so easy to get hacked. shakehead.gif

Have you tried account recovery?

Yeah they do. Slow and they limit access. Cannot access yahoo or hotmail unless by proxy. Lots of hardcore gamers in Myanmar though. Try visit www.vakok.net.

Anyway, I just read the FAQ of scroll of resurrection. One player is only allowed one scroll of resurrection. I checked my account history, I have accepted a resurrection back in 2008. So taht means I can no longer accept it anymore?

I seriously was skeptical about that since they're ruled by a military junta, and you know how totalitarian they can get.

Yeah, common perception of those who have not step foot into that country. It is actually a very beautiful place with really nice people. Only problem is that their junta ruled government is f*cked up.

Anyway, seems like my attempt to religion wow account for trial without committing any payment is futile. I might try out wow Taiwan. Possible to get free trial first over there rite? Gonna head over to that thread. This thread will be closed by end of the week if I join wow Taiwan server by then.
