Thanks dude.... I got the item and i test immediately... Test streaming RadioTime while driving from Jalan Ipoh back to Shah Alam using my Car PC was great.... no lag and the signal stays at 3G all the time.... signal drop total 4 times due to change station, before that was 31 times signal drop. It was a significant improvement.

Thumbs up for our bro bring us such a product into Malaysia Market. I know that some of the people might say this is china/taiwan product and can buy very cheap etc etc... but our fren here is selling at very resonable price... Pls support him...
*
that's the main point that should always have buyers attention.

It is so important for sellers to be able to source and differentiate A class product among so many A-B-C class products out there from CN/TW (must self-test it out before promoting any), rather than just aimed at getting substandard C class product to be able sell at C pricing to fight market (very tempting $$ and buyers like this). But under-performance stuffs equivalent to wasting money although cheaper, RM1 is still RM1.

Tower distance 12km. Not bad for RM38 for 3Gb.  rclxms.gif
I think if using better cable LMR200/400 will get better signal.  rclxub.gif

woh, tower 12km away? that seems very far ... but you manage get higher speed than me in kl... rclxub.gif

Can pm me the 3G yagi antenna and how much you charge for inserting the connector cable into the E1550?
*
hi, E1550 don't have a ready external connector outthere, it got an internal connector, but the cable solution for that kind not mature yet, so i don't recommend any.

Your Panel Antenna look like above ?

Added on May 19, 2011, 11:22 amCheck PM, I want a Best Highest GAIN antenna solution. Thanks.
*
no, that is not dual-band panel.

dual band 3G in malaysia here means support 2100MHz and latest 900MHz 3G. dual band antenna means there are 2 antennas built inside, each antenna support a high gain for a range of frequency.

mine is 9dbi for 900MHz, 10dbi for 2100MHz - dual antenna inside.

Below is the pic of the dualband antenna.

PS: Bro my E1762 antenna socket broken edi haiiihhhh.... any idea to repair? solder direct or change a new antenna socket? u have any?

what antenna socket is ? the huawei converter? if broken either you know diy soldering or get a new replacement. if still connected with signal means still working/contacted, the pin inside no broken then is fine.

Hello, do you sell the adapter only?
From the small connector to the big connector i ment. Thank you
*
if i got extra converter stock, then can sell it separately.

and remember to use 3g antenna only (2.1GHz), not wifi antenna (2.4GHz). from past experience i noticed many users thinking of antenna (omni/directional) outer looking quite similarily then can use interchangebly, actually no gain. just as 3g antenna also useless for wimax 2.3GHz.

It's also 16dbi for dual band antenna??
*
brief info for u:
a true dual band antenna means there are 2 antenna built-in, each antenna responsible to provide a gain value (dbi) for a specific range of frequency (MHz). so it is IMPOSSIBLE for 1 antenna alone can provide 1 same high gain dbi figure for 2 or more aparted frequency range (xxxMHz vs xxxxMHz) or even say can cover from low to high frequency with a same high gain value, that is misleading tech trick/biz trick that many of such info seen in ebay site.

this dual band antenna is panel type which consisted of 2 panel antenna insides - one for 10dbi @ 2100MHz and another 9dbi @ 900MHz.

since its size slightly bigger than 14dbi wifi panel (but still a book size), so it can't accomodate 2 higher dbi panel inside, impossible to do so because of space (panel antenna size correlation with dbi effect, higher dbi must be using bigger panel size).. unless extend the antenna diameter to as big as sth like 19" tv viewing screen size than only got room to put in 2 units of higher dbi panel inside... then it no more portable and too heavy loh ... then ppl complain not portable/easy handling then ... end user expectation(s) make manufacturer headache...

although lower dbi but it offer wider coverage angle compare to yagi antenna, means wider area to catch signal from diverse direction. yagi 16dbi is 30degree (horizontal/vertical). this dual band: gain: 9dbi @ 900MHz
coverage: (vertical) 55 degree; (horizontal) 77 degree; gain: 10dbi @ 2100MHz
coverage: (vertical) 47 degree; (horizontal) 58 degree

more importantly it is really provide 2 high gain value for 2 frequency range with 2 antenna inside. And we don't know very clear yet if maxis/celcom will run dual band on parallel or just use 900MHz in city area by discarding 2100MHz, in any case this dual band antenna won't be a waste of money in future.
