empire23, i have another idea. lets say. If the nation u wanna hit is nearby a volcano, notably Japan, instead of calling a strike on the target zone, how about....... drop a missile in the volcano and crush through the magma chamber, the earth core activity will cause earthquake..

profit???

the earthquake will deal way more damage than the missile...

and i dun think there are any protocols banning on these.

Well, if you could find a penetrator that could go deep enough to hit the magma chamber without damaging the warhead, then yeah, that would be a good start. Plus to create a geological event strong enough to influence anything, you'd have to pop a nuke in (Operation Plowshare), which kind of defeats the purpose because a direct hit on a city with multiple MIRVs would cause more damage and destruction than an earthquake.

i know my idea are too fictional, dun flame me. but we all know for volcanos that havent settle down, even if they already settled down, can be re-activated by instability of magma core activity......well we need a trigger.

i just thinking if we can use mother nature itself as a weapon.

There are other weapon inside mother nature arsenal. Check out HAARP and ELF waves and an intresting theory on how they manipulate weather and caused Hurricane Katrina and such.

Modernization ended 66 Leopard 2A4 tanks Singaporean army. They were given extra armor AMAP German's IBD Deisenroth Engineering (IBD) and ST Kinetics.

Singapore bought 96 Leopards from the stocks of the Bundeswehr in 2007. A year later, began their delivery, 66 cars earmarked for operational use, 30 has become a warehouse of spare parts. This is the strongest army tanks, which previously had only mild AMX-13 and, possibly, a redesigned Centurion Mk3 and Mk7 tanks. The latter have never been publicly disclosed, and it is anticipated that a limited number of them (12-63 units), stationed in neighboring countries, which conduct joint military exercises with the forces of Singapore. Purchase Leopards may be associated with a successful transaction has already supplies Polish PT-91M for Malaysia

Leopards were immediately brought undergone a process of modernization, the model 2SG, based on the German system of IBD. Based on the novel varieties of materials, aluminum, titanium, ceramic inserts and nano-ceramics, has managed to achieve greater puncture resistance while reducing weight. The manufacturer estimates that thanks to their armor is twice as better performance than traditional armored steel.

IBD products are used including in Finnish AMV 8x8 (are also offered for Polish Rosomak), the German Puma IFV, German-Dutch Boxer, French VBCI and some variants of Swedish CV90. Singapore Leopards created a demand for the first set of tanks. IBD has also developed armor for Eurocopter Tiger and Italian Iveco LMV patrol cars.

With regard to the Leopards 2SG (also referred to Leopard Evolution marketing), extra armor is installed at the front of hull and turret and front sides of the hull and turret. The rear of the vehicle is protected by armor rod against cumulative projectiles. The German manufacturer declares that reinforced the bottom of the hull against the effects of mine. The work carried out joint-venture and local IBD ST Kinetics.

IBD and EODC also introduces Evolution Survivability Concept which developed for the Main Battle Tank Leopard 2 A4. It provides a balanced broadband protection against the full spectrum of today's threats in theatre with minimum weight. (photo : IBD)

The first dozen vehicles was demonstrated publicly at the time of last year, November's national holiday in Singapore.

In the near future to Singapore - as the first recipient - should get the active defense systems, ADS, ADS Gesellschaft for production active protection system, owned by Rheinmetall (74%) and IBD (26%). The system has already undergone a series of tests, proving its usefulness to destroy incoming projectiles launchers anti-tank, and even parts of artillery shells. Today begins the mass production and first deliveries are to be implemented this year.

The ADS will be equipped with sets of lighter types of vehicles, including articulated transporters probably Bronco

Fighter deal bigger: 126 will rise to 260

Feb. 12: It is already known as the world’s biggest defence import deal in a long time. Now, it transpires, it is even bigger than that. The Indian Air Force is in the market to buy 126 Medium Multi-role Combat Aircraft (MMRCA) from one of six foreign vendors bidding for the contract.

Over time, however, the IAF plans to buy 260 of them, Deccan Chronicle has learnt. That means, what has been talked about as a $10-12 billion deal will eventually fetch the winner of the contract close to $25 billion.

While the IAF floated a request for proposal (RFP) for only 126 fighters, sources privy to the armed forces’ Long-Term Integrated Perspective Plan said that that document puts the number of medium fighter jets the IAF needs at is 260. Ministry of defence officials, however, refused to confirm that there was any plan beyond the current RFP.

America’s Lockheed Martin (F-16) and Boeing (F/A-18), the 4-nation Eurofighter consortium (Typhoon), France’s Dassault (Rafale), Sweden's SAAB (Gripen) and Russia’s Mikoyan-Gureyvich (MiG-35) are locked in a high-intensity public relations as well as behind-the-scenes war to win the contract.

Air Chief P.V. Naik had on Thursday said that the Contract Negotiations Committee would achieve key milestones towards evaluating the packages offered by the various vendors in a week or two and that the contract would be ready for signing by September, except if "dissatisfied vendors put a spoke in the wheel".

That, sources said, looked almost inevitable given the size of the contract and what it could do to the fortunes of the winner. It could potentially keep alive assembly lines for some fighters from the 1970s/1980s vintage for another 30 years, ensuring that some 25,000 to 30,000 people would find employment in what are currently stricken economies in the US and Europe.

The sources also said that the eventual number of the frontline air superiority Sukhoi-30 MKIs from Russia in the IAF's fleet would also go up to 280.

The IAF would need these higher numbers of combat jets of different classes considering that it has to plan for threats coming from two fronts.
