QUOTE(aldosoesilo @ Feb 8 2011, 07:57 PM) Thanks for the input bro. I myself thinking to get 1870 because it's zoom longer but knowing sigma ain't bad as well makes me doubtful. haha fixed aperture helps alot at low light. if u more indoor person, it is handy. flash might help u but its burdensome ur flash so that battery die fasteranyway I've decided and talk to the seller to confirm buy 1870. hopefully I wouldn't regret I tried it once in futoromic. tamron 1750 <- but only test test a while does constant aperture affect IQ? actually due to a lot of problem I think I better skip tamron 1750. and currently having 1870 nikkor and 1850 sigma as my consideration. I do feel my kit 1855 is too short hence I am looking for 1870. however knowing some1 selling 1850 siggy for 1.2k make me confuse about which one should I choose. 1870 Nikkor or 1850 siggy + 55-200/55-300 nikkor. |

if u said that F4.5 is decent enuff for u, then go la 1870....
as far as i know, 1 stop F equals to 2 stops of SS F2.8 VS F3.5 meaning 4 stop for shutter. but hey, who cares right since u have good body and flash? |

QUOTE(edwardgsk @ Feb 8 2011, 09:08 PM) In most occasions I rather pump ISO than using flashgun one. Still hard to maintain flash-less look in the photo for me when using flash. u using D300 or D700, the guys who asking using D3100. still want to pump up ISO? he talkin sigma 1850 or nikkor 1870 and most likely he decide 1870 which widest aperture 3.5. thats why i said flash come handy with his equipmentThat's where good ISO performance camera comes in handy, or spend money for 2.8 and 1.4 lo. |

QUOTE(edwardgsk @ Feb 8 2011, 11:44 PM) D90 and D300 ISO performance I don't see any differences at all. In fact, D90 is using same sensor and engine as D300, where got difference like that? got mah. above 1600 start noticeable that D90 are more softer. lotsa detail blend togather ed. makes picture are damn soft |
