QUOTE(jchue73 @ Feb 10 2011, 05:45 PM) If it's just for fun, yeah you can use normal UWA or fisheye. But usually if for architecture, taking pics of interior and outside of the building requires you to have straight lines. Fisheye is out of the question. Normal UWA will give odd parallax. You need good ones like 14-24mm f/2.8. Hmm, thanks. Been saving money for this 14-24mm lens. Guess i'm on the right track and another 5 months to go! QUOTE Ouch, mine dropped when it was about 1 month old too So to all d700 new owner.... pls leave ur camera at home for awhile once it reach 1 month old. QUOTE(jchue73 @ Feb 10 2011, 07:05 PM) Haha, nolar bro...no money mar...have to save lor. QUOTE(elainor @ Feb 10 2011, 09:44 PM) those SP that nikon gave us will trapped some dusts or even fine sands between the lcd screen and the SP... it will eventually scratch ur lcd screen... thats why i replaced it with a GGS screen protector... the thinest glass lcd screen protector... u wont feel any different after u install on ur lcd screen...worth every bucks imo I see. Yeah, i notice alot of dust everytime even though i wipe it every once a while...how much would those GGS screen protector cost normally ? This post has been edited by C_Sagi: Feb 10 2011, 10:04 PM |

QUOTE(fisherman10 @ Feb 11 2011, 12:34 AM) Nice, think I'm gonna get a set within this month. Do common camera shop has it or need to thoroughly search? Shashinki selling a bit more due to the shipping fee. This post has been edited by C_Sagi: Feb 11 2011, 10:31 AM |

QUOTE(Everdying @ Feb 11 2011, 03:08 PM) yest i ask nikon center in bts what the warranty is like for grey set lenses...they say its not covered. Actually i believe for lens, grey set doesnt come with warranty at all beside provided by the shop alone. Its still international warranty for the normal one.so whatever anyone says about nikon lenses having international warranty, dont believe |

QUOTE(Everdying @ Feb 11 2011, 04:12 PM) that one all i know la...only applies for certain countries like US. U sure or not ? Cause I have a 1 yr worldwide limited warranty form here. And it listed Malaysia in it. so if u buy a lens in say UK, go back to US, US nikon will honor the warranty. but malaysia is a different story. |

I'll bring along my lens and ask then. im just passing on the info that they told me But before that, u sure u asked them in nikon center while providing the international warranty slip right ? QUOTE(celciuz @ Feb 12 2011, 12:28 AM) Oh that's the newer one... clip on de. I using older one, uses 3m tape.. the new one is clip on like the original cover from nikon, i don't like it cause i guess dust can get trapped in between. i see..so paying more and still get dust in eh. Think i'll go check another shop tomorrow, thanks. |
