it seems that kytz is right. my 5d2 does show some slobbish noises there. here's another shot of it.

settings in camera - Long NR is turned off, normal noise reduction = standard.

Use DPP then LR 3.0... don't just simply use any other software as it will degrade the picture  sweat.gif

and also do your basic editing in DPP and enhance it in LR 3.0
*
what's DPP? i mean that's the short form term right?

Added on February 6, 2011, 10:16 pmits the canon's one izit? sweat.gif okok will start using that now laugh.gif

I am stuck between sigma 1850 and nikkor 1870. please sifu(s) help me.
*
i'd go with the nikkor. less focusing probs tongue.gif

QUOTE(elainor @ Feb 8 2011, 06:18 PM)
decided to pop down to some camera shop tmr to get my first prime lens... hopefully i could choose the right choice on sigma 50mm f/1.4 or 50mm f/1.4g nikkor...
*
if u dont mind trying out copies, i'd say the sigma. but u cant go wrong with either 1 tho smile.gif

QUOTE(celciuz @ Feb 8 2011, 08:32 PM)
f/4.5 -> doomsday indoor without flash!
*
as for people who likes to stay low ISOs, komfem sakit tongue.gif but for me f4 indoors, ISO 3200 FTW laugh.gif (and sometimes even higher sweat.gif )

QUOTE(aldosoesilo @ Feb 8 2011, 08:36 PM)
shouldn't sell my flash. doh.gif
is it practically impossible? damn it.  rclxub.gif
*
QUOTE(Isepunye @ Feb 8 2011, 09:00 PM)
it is a big mistake to sell up ur flash.
*
not impossible..bump up ur ISO..wut for u bought a camera with the high ISO capabilities and u didnt use it? tongue.gif unless ur using a camera with 1600 max ISO then hard ler sweat.gif

and its not a big mistake he sold his flash. the nissin Di622 is no doubt a good flash. but the inconsistency just kills it sometimes. its a good thing he sold it. sb-900 FTW yaw! laugh.gif

Thanks, I am selling my nissin and will go for Sb-series later when I have bigger body like d7k  wub.gif
Sb-900.  wub.gif monster body in FX line-up.
I think DX body mounted with SB900 still unstable. what do you think tony?
*
QUOTE(razuryza @ Feb 9 2011, 10:00 AM)
have u ever hold a d300/s in ur life? till u said unstable?  unsure.gif
*
dont be so harsh on him la bro. i think he meant the entry level bodies tongue.gif

as for mid-range DSLRs, i think its stable enough.

last time i put the 580ex2 on my 1000D body, kinda unstable but still usable laugh.gif some of my nikon frens with entry level bodies use the sb-600 and it looks just right IMO.

Hopefully it's ISO performance is good though, with that sensor.

QUOTE(celciuz @ Feb 10 2011, 12:00 PM)
Rumors all over~ One of those I've seen was a 16MP sensor, 6FPS, same metering sensor (2000+ pixels RGB sensor) like D7000, the same 3500FX AF system etc. < I think this one more closer...
If D800 to replace D700, it should be a D4 junior type.
*
i oso dunno which one to believe. rumors everywhere yeah sweat.gif just have to wait till its out then laugh.gif

If you don't know anything don't simply say. No the pop up flash is still working fine. D700 is tough!
