Bro, thanks - also I had a close look at the BLM - you are right - it is smaller - so the casing cut will be the lower part (aircond control place) or upper part?

Then I also notice the shape is not flat - curve a bit - so how, this player will 'ngam' fit or not?

Thanks,
D

Mr Chia,

Hafadzz from Kuching, Sarawak. Bought the Exora OEM player from you last week by poslaju.

The accessories shop I asked to install in Kuching told me to buy the steering wheel control @RM300. I told him this is plug & play no need extra parts. Then I called you and I must say you have the best after sales service I have met. We talked on the phone yesterday and you guided me to fix it myself. The player can detect my steering wheel but I still cannot control the player.

Anyway, I will try again and hopefully you can help me to troubleshoot.

Added on June 11, 2012, 4:35 pmDear Forumers,

I just had this installed in my dad's BLM today - and I can say the following:

1. All of the feedback/testimonials provided by forumers thus far is true and accurate - Mr Chia was cool - took his time to explain things, suggested choices, and provided helpful suggestions - even my Dad who came along had a good experience.

2. The installation team was very professional - excellent product knowledge and attention to detail. In fact, they completed the install in about 1 hour - and spent quite a bit of time to ensure the solution looked good. They communicate well and work with suggestions and ideas very well.

3. There is no cutting of wires - everything is plug and play - honestly. All panel removal and shaping work was done very professionally - and the refitting was meticulously done. Finally the whole area was cleaned thoroughly.

4. The HU itself is quite cool - it has Radio/TV/DVD/MP3/DivX/Bluetooth/Ipod/USB functionality. The touchscreen is very responsive. It does boot with the all important Proton screen.

5. The GPS is powered by Papago v8.5 - and it was fast and responsive.

6. We even decided to change the car horn - and Mr Chia took the time to demo the Hella and Bosch horns - we finally settled on the Bosch horn - and the install was done in about 30 mins.

7. I am sure pics will be uploaded soon to show a BLM install.

All in all - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Thanks Mr Chia & His Professional Team. I shall return to do my own car.
