Hi,

I am looking for apps that can track flights especially those Malaysian domestic flights. Has anybody tried FlightBoard or FlightTracker Pro ? Do these apps really display Malaysia Airlines, AirAsia, FireFly flights in real-time ? I don't mind paying for the apps if they really work as advertised.

Appreciate any advice given.

I'm using FlightTracket Pro (FTP) as well as Flight Update Pro (FUP). Both are identical in terms of functionality. But I prefer FUP for giving weather forecast so that we can "estimate" if the flight is gonna be delayed or not (even though it's up to the airlines to decide).

Hello Dgtel2,

Thank you for your advice. Can Flight Update Pro track our domestic flights' (eg. those on MH, Airasia, FireFly, etc.) departure/arrival times in real-time ie. actual departure/arrival times. I know for North American airlines is not an issue. But not so sure about our Malaysian-based airlines. Just want to make sure the app meets my needs before I splash our USD $9.99 tongue.gif

not sure about MH & FireFly. But for AirAsia, it can do what you are looking for. But it does not give the delay of arrival or departure. It does not even tie to the seating you pick in the aircraft (unless american airlines).

My bet is it is fully functional for North American airlines but has limitations for local/domestic airlines. So, don't waste your bucks on these apps.

Yes, it does track all the flights possibly available. At times, there would be problems with some local flights tracking. Otherwise, it's pretty good I would say. smile.gif
