QUOTE(doublef @ Feb 13 2011, 04:52 AM) Most RSS/GoogleReader apps do this. For me, it's a toss up between reader, read it later and newsrack (which I currently use due to the ability to add new RSS feeds straight from the iPhone). But newsrack's Facebook integration kinda sucks so I might just go back to reeder. |

Also SUPER converter. I just use Allok converter out of habit from my Nokia days, but that's a paid app.
Surprisingly, with any converter, my old 640x360 H.264 (baseline superb setting) + AAC in an MP4 container (my old N900 setting) works superbly with BuzzPlayer (and it SHOULD work for default to, as Buzz uses the built in player engine to play MP4s anyway). Files look sharp and aren't too big. Even put out on a TV it's not TOO bad (from the N900 anyway lol). This post has been edited by Eiraku: Feb 19 2011, 07:51 PM |

QUOTE(yupio @ Mar 7 2011, 04:44 PM) Don't it make ur life shorter by placing ur phone next to ur pillow? Imagine all the transmissions n all....don't forget, IP4 if data line is activated and push notifications are on, the phone is very busy all the time transmitting n receiving all nite longĀ Please quote the proper research papers that backs this up? Even if there are, there's insufficient data to conclusively say that Mobile radiation is bad for you anyway lol. Here's a good readup on the issue for anybody interested: http://is.gd/Zpl5rG Anyway, you can always put the phone in Airplane mode before putting it under the pillow if you're still doubtful. BTW, I'm a Sleep Cycle convert too. And 99c is a small price to pay for what is essentially the best app of it's type. Trust me, I've tried the JB EasyWakeUp Pro ($16.99) and it's nowhere as polished. This post has been edited by Eiraku: Mar 9 2011, 09:40 AM |

QUOTE(lilster @ Mar 9 2011, 02:55 PM) Nope, it's just that I like the app, plus it helps me wake up when a gazillion other alarm clocks, software AND hardware, have failed lol.EasyWakeUp Pro is good too, but it's 17x more expensive, slightly buggy and needs JBing. Plus the graphs are way less pretty lol. Also, I hate baseless "urz brainz iz the gonna fryz becauz of radiationzzz" conspiracy theories, even when there is a mountain of research suggesting that it's completely safe to bake your head with EMI. Oh, and JB = piracy? Sad state of the world we live in where you can buy a 2k+ mobile, and "save up" on the apps. It's like buying an expensive HD projector and watching DVD cinema pirates on it lol. If you like it, buy it I say - help feed the devs and their children. Unfortunately for me though, this belief of mine is obliterating my credit cards. For the love of God, I just moved around files on my computer, resetted some settings, queued some files for download, streamed a document for my students to see and THEN watched a few episodes of sitcoms I JUST downloaded onto my computer - from about 150km away.
It's a revelation really. I mean the technology that makes it possible has been there for years, but of all the smartphone platforms I've ever used, nothing has never been as easy and as effortless as this. Props to the apps that made it possible: Air Video and LogMeIn Ignition. Peerless killer apps, really. This post has been edited by Eiraku: Apr 2 2011, 12:05 AM |

Lockdown is the best I know of really, well worth the money. Just search the Cydia store, sure got some alternatives.
And we can discuss Cydia apps over here already meh? I thought have to keep it in the JB specific thread? This post has been edited by Eiraku: Apr 6 2011, 10:08 PM |
