damn, i was about to post the trailer here....haih, me too slowpoke!

I don't know why I keep on watching the trailer, even on 720p HD, I'm not satisfied with the graphic. Maybe cause Crysis 2, Battlefield 3, Brink, Bulletstorm graphics have greatly affected me....like you can see the extra "directX 11" details in a specific terrain like the walls of the building...MW3 just looks plain without much details...no offence


But I hope the new developers for Modern Warfare 3 will make the game like Modern Warfare 1. Don't make it like Modern Warfare 2 please.


If only Modern Warfare 3 has this.....

1. Dedicated servers and match making servers
2. Custom maps editor
3. Theater mode
4. No tactical nuke
5. Wager match
6. LAN support

But for sure no LAN or dedicated servers again, to avoid pirates =.=!!

Black Ops used a highly modified and enhanced WAW engine. Black Ops graphics look better than MW2 actually. If you compare Havana (Black Ops) and Invasion (Modern Warfare 2 ) multiplayer maps.

Yeah, MW2 guns look more realistic. Especially UMP45. Sexy.

Slowpoke news. But these are some videos of the Spec Ops gameplay in a new multiplayer map. Yeah, you get to shoot hordes of enemies in multiplayer maps in Spec Ops Mode. Its like playing Combat Training, but this is spec ops.

Looks pretty fun although the game is using old engine. The map in the gameplay videos somehow reminds me of Array map in Black Ops, except that its not winter.

I'm hoping that Modern Warfare 3 has some really cool multiplayer maps like the New York map in the Black Tuesday mission. I don't mind about the graphics (the walls have very low details in Modern Warfare 3, especially the buildings) but its fun to run around in an open city with jets and planes flying above, and explosions every where.....can't really find these kinds of maps in Call of duty series....Strike and Ambush maps in cod4 are like dead cities....Invasion in MW2 have "short" buildings....the New York mission has super tall buildings...so nice

Buy MW3 on its release date isn't worth it...Its overpriced IMO. Should be more than RM180 like Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops

Maybe its better to buy the game few months after that during steam promotion...got 10%, 33% enough la...

Call of Duty United Offensive 2 = Frostbite 3.0 + IW 5.0 (built for PlayStation 4, required HD7970 crossfire to run)
Call of Duty Black Ops 3 = Id Tech 6.0 + Highly enhanced IW 5.0 engine

For me, Modern Warfare 2 graphic is a lot better than Call of Duty 4. And Black Ops graphic is better than Modern Warfare 2 (provided that we run it in ultra settings).

Why?

in terms of graphics

If you have seen Call of Duty Black Ops being played on a PS3 on a Full HD TV...

I played zombie mode with my friends online, and that is the worst graphics i've seen

Based on some websites, the PS3 only renders Black Ops at 960x544 resolution....imagine 960x544 being scaled up to 1920x1080 Full HD

luckily i didnt buy a ps3 for myself

I didn't realise that. I only realise the new vibration in the gameplay when there are explosives..and the new blood texture on the screen...and the colour indicator of the score when you kill someone....the purple grenade which calls for chopper strike....and the last scene where the dude uses an epic gun

They shouldn't film the trailer in 3rd person. The graphics are damn ugly.

I guess so. But I think the most epic multiplayer reveal trailer by Infinity Ward was the Modern Warfare 2 Capture the Flag trailer in Favela. Damn, i got so high when watching it back in year 2009.

Sorry to disappoint some of you who are graphics concerned. No offence but I think it is not wrong to develop Modern Warfare 3 based on IW4.0 engine. This is because some of us have pretty weak gaming rig like me, and I prefer a gameplay of more than 30FPS with native resolution. And console gamers too.

Look at this. Valve's games are developed by using Source Engine. From Team Fortress 2 ----->>> Left 4 Dead 2 ------>>>> Portal 2 --------->> Dota 2. And people still love their games. I know sometimes, Activision really makes us go what the f'uck with their f'ucking expensive pricing.

But right after PlayStation 4 is announced next year during E3...call of duty shud have new engine...





And Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer gameplay looks pretty sick and awesome. Especially in this trailer. And we can't just say its "another Modern Warfare 2 ADD-ON", or "HEY, MODERN WARFARE 3 IS A MW2 DLC!!!!111"




I like how they balance the game, especially no more Commando perk and no more Last Stand.

I'm going to buy Modern Warfare 3 in November. And I'm also buying Battlefield 3 next month. RM400 gone! haha
