Wanted to ask for opinion on Jasmine Tower. 300k, 1000+ square feet. Unfurnished. Good buy?

Agent said, rental can be 1.5k. Serious doubt about that. However, even with the rental, causes negative cash flow.

Any uptakes on that? Thanks..

300k is a good price for own stay, consider the strategic location. For rental, maybe but I still think people will prefer places like damansara perdana. What floor is it?

Sorry ya, you also have Mon't Kiara, TTDI, Kota Damansara and etc.

Damansara Perdana got a lot of apartment to let at a cheaper than RM1.5k unfurnished and newer than jasmine tower. But Jasmine Tower for own stay, very worth it!

Hmm..condo newer, doesn't mean built to be better. Besides, damansara perdana is very jam, and road access not as good. Kota Damansara also the same.

Not sure about mont kiara, but jasmine tower road access is very good. location is also very strategic. I agree for own stay is very good, but not sure about investment..

Anybody else have any views please?

If it's causing negative cash flow, that will only mean that you hope the property price to appreciate if you are considering it.

If you're considering to bleed, why don't bleed it on a landed instead of a condo? Less risk, higher returns if it appreciates. Logic?

Places in Tmn Medan or very poor condition house with less than 70 years tenure to go, u'll need to add up 50-100k! Yes you can start with 300k in PJ for a house

Jasmine tower is quite an old condo. Not really think is worth the buy.

I always thought condo's appreciation is greatest in the first 5 years and starts to taper off quite significantly after that. Rate of incremental value cannot be the same year after year. Any sifus thought on this.?? I agree with the landed property too.

landed property need a lot of money to repair, esp the older ones.
