Oh...sounds simple enough.....
The bracket does come with the ram pipe kits itself right? Can someone post a pic of the bracket on how it looks like?

daredevilcsl, where did you buy the roof rack? its for bicycle right? Mind telling me where to buy and how much for it?
*
i get the base rack from my friend as he change his car so he can't use and i take over from him....the base rack can be use for alot stuff bike carrier is just one of it...last time i get about 450 from my friend...new base rack would cost about 600-800 depend on the footpack for your car...the carrier i get it from Mega Champion cost me about 350++ last time....if you want i can PM one of the distributor for Thule in Malaysia....

hmm u want to sacrifice ur fuel consumption just for the roof rack?
It will cause air drag
*
for sure there will be additional weight added...but drag i not too sure...as rear carrier would cause more drag then the roof rack...so far there is not much drag for me....but there are significant weight gain....especially when my 14kg bikes on top of it.... smile.gif

Fuel consumption? Mine is pretty bad already, so don't care la
Sure, but thule damn expensive wor. Was looking for 1, but dunno where to look, find thule, but its quite expensive, so i dunno how much budget to set yet
*
Thule is expensive but is worth all the money spend...it really secure the bike tight....if properly tighten it wun have any noise at all...even traveling at high speed....i tried before with my 14kg bike i still can run 110-120 with no issues...

Good question you got there.
Well as you can see, the speaker is too big that it will definitely overlap the metal supporter right?
[attachmentid=2134304]
(Overlapping adi)
I don't believe the assemblyman cause he talk crap want remove the metal and say later the wood might fall off cz no more supporter so ask me buy another wood?
It is just a gimmick so that we have to buy another wood from them that costs RM50? WTF.
[attachmentid=2134307]
Actually we can remove the metal supporter with pliers.
But first you have to open up the cloth that covers the wood.
After that use the screwdriver to cungkil the dead bolt to remove the whole thing.
After removing the metal supporter, start drilling and makes holes for your speaker.
As you can see there is a line stain that shows the previous location of my metal supporter.
[attachmentid=2134311]
Once you done with the hole and making sure the speaker is in place, take out the speaker and put back the metal supporter with screw and nut.
Get from DIY shop la.
[attachmentid=2134312]
Tada. I refit the thing.
Remember you have to drill another hole to fit it.
Overall DIY yourself is better smile.gif
*
cool bro...i might improve ur version of DIY abit...see when i got time to do it.... smile.gif

Hi Guys,

I have a few problems with my LMST now...

- Cold starting the car idling rpm has been unstable...it fluctuate between 0.5k rpm and 1k rpm...is constantly moving up and down...untill the engine warm up for 5minutes then it only stable but still will fluctuate abit around 0.75k prm to 1k rpm...this problem occurs once i have changed the filter to open pod is this got something to do with the changes? icon_question.gif

- After the morning starting when i drive my car i can feel that the power of acceleration does not come smoothly is like especially if u heavy floor it u can feel there is intermediate power loss but once the force kick in is strong...something like tubo lag... icon_question.gif

- Recently just changed the crank pulley after a few day of using it i can hear some sound coming from the crank pulley side is this normal? I'm using the Jasma brand purple color. icon_question.gif

- When i'm traveling on highway with aircon on i can hear some high pitch sound once i hit my speed over 90km/h. If i turn off the aircon then the sound is gone....is this my aircon problem? or some place leaks? icon_question.gif

- Every time after i pump oil sure can smell gasoline from inside of the car...is there any place where could be the leak problem came from?? icon_question.gif

No,i think its cause too much air + cold start cause it,I'm using drop in filter + water injection also like that but if u floor it mildly the power kick in very fast(from my own experience)
*
does a fuel regulator help for this issues?

sound and air cond sound is ur forman over thighten the belt when install ur pulley
have it lossen a little and see how
if sound still persist cahnge ur air cond belt and the tensioning pulley
cost below 50 buck

rpm problem is auto choke and cold start issue
have it warm up few minute before u drive it
ur thermostate still there or remove d ???
last time mine saga 91 manual choke need to pull the choke to able to drive
later i put back in the thermostate now no need pull choke can go smoothly
because when u remove the thermostate the water continue to run and the warn water cannot stay at the pipe below ur intake manifold to give a little heat for ur fuel to evapore propelly
u see around the thermostate hosing got two separate hose
1 is u turn hose and another is a hose connecting to a pipe under the intake manifold
*
newbie here...bit blur... rclxub.gif

aircon sound is been quite a while...will checkout the aircon belt...

for the rpm problem which is auto choke?? rclxub.gif

duno which is thermostate also...never touch all these before.... rclxub.gif
i think is should be there since i never remove anything before this...will try see see...

-  autochoke problem... service carburetor also... make sure its clean...

-  engine havent warm up dont floor the throttle laa...

-  readjust ur belt tension... common problem...

-  tatau.. my car also got... usually i ignore coz exhaust sound cover the beep sound d....

-  fuel does not go into ur cabin area... ur fuel tank is below ur car and there is no fuel line access into ur car... if u can smell fuel inside ur car, check rubber door seal....
*
will get some carbie cleaner to clean it...

no la...dun really floor it when cold start...only after the engine warm up already then only will floor abit more...

oh...gotta go back to the mod shop later...

my exhaust sound not that loud so the high pitch still very obvious....think gotta change to the jasma n1 exhaust (any review or comment on this muffler)

for the fuel will check all the rubber seal....

Sorry should hose to under paip below manifold
not thermostate
*
thanks bro...manage to find the root cause of it...found a small pipe from manifold to the old intake which is not connected nor blocked...so that is the cause of the rpm to be so unstable...now in the meantime using a thing to block the hose as i don't know where it should be connected to for now as previously is connected to underneath the old plastic intake....

as for the thermostat is the same as the picture u took...so no different on that...but still thanks anyway bro... icon_rolleyes.gif

that high pitch sound, hmm after u change ur crankpulley u only can hear it right ?? b4 this can hear ?? rclxub.gif
*
nope...before change already have it already...just that i didn't really bother but recently is abit annoying...

crank pulley does have the sound....but is only when engine idling when traveling there is no sound...as for the high pitch sound from aircon is only happen when the car traveling if idling it won't sound anything...

Hi guys, anyone used Jasma camshalf 270 intake 275 exhaust? How was the performance and reliability?
*
heard some review from 2 old timer camshaft tuner....jasma brand not bad...with some proper tuning it can be quite powerful...worth a try....so far no complaint yet...as i heard another brand got some issues on the tuning...no matter how they tune just can't make it...

hi guys,

just back from overseas....here are some of the pic as promised....

Below is the hose that i mention earlier on...which cause the rpm to be unstable it was left open previously
Attached Image

it link from the old intake to the manifold
Attached Image

so i took out some hose joint from the old intake and stuck it back to the hose as i have no time to go down to the workshop and ask the guy there yet...so this is just a temporary solution and it work fine for the moment
