I would recommend u the 4G92p or 4G92 Mit SOHC/DOHC. Reason why I recommend those??? Its bcuz these engine are newer, cheaper, economical, powerful and easy to maintain (spareparts availabilities and cheap) And another thing u need know bout the 4G9series engines u gotta custom make the mounting brackets for the front and rear crossmember. |

QUOTE(evoluzzion @ Apr 1 2011, 04:45 PM) Yesterday change valve rubber seal to eliminated white smoke for rm300... white smoke prob solved.. Changing the exhaust setup does not affect the speed and rpm ratio. Its the gear ratio dat plays these kind of role. just to share with u guys.. after using cap ayam straigth flow muffler and cap ayam open pod filter, this is my gear@rpm =speed reading for now.. 1gear@4000rpm= 40kmj 2gear@4000rpm= 60kmj 3gear@4000rpm= 80kmj 4gear@4000rpm= 110kmj 5gear@4000rpm= 130kmj tak berani tarik lebih then 4000rpm.. scared anything happen to engine... dont want to spoil it.. whut do u think..?? oke huh...?? |

QUOTE(Notoriez @ Apr 22 2011, 01:58 PM) You ride with Alex & Guan @ Genting Peksan, especially downhill...see if you still got your balls after that or not... Just bcuz a few individuals pek corners like "GOD" and using IMP as their suspension setup it doesn't meant dat IMP are the best among all. Even Darren also lost his balls and kept quiet for the rest of the night....and you know how Darren drive... Both of them is using IMP comfort not ADJUSTABLES but still can pek corners @ high speed. Nevertheless other factors such as UR bar, performance tyres, bigger brakes also played a big factor when taking corners. One thing bout IMP comfort it's cheap but still perform quite well while maintaining comfort for daily normal drive. I just wondering why ppl want to use super hard adjustables for daily drive. Our road not so smooth also. If track car then i understand la. Our roads have a lot of lubang here, lubang there. Once hit one lubang, you will experience back ache la, car chassis lari la, car internals tercabut la Im not selling IMP but based on experience, it's has the most VALUE for $$$. To the rest who don't know! changing absorbers is not cheap coz you need to calculate in the alignment, camber adjustments as well. That also will cost around RM50-100 One downside is the IMP rear absorbers for our PALIAH SagaIswara is still soft. For that might need to get much more expensive brands which is for me not worth it as the gain is not much even though spend more than RM1k unless go change the rear axle to multi link suspension. It depends on the driver too, how they perform it also contribute. Nevertheless to say if u 1 2 compare between individuals. Shawn, stock suspension setup b4 he swap to those aftermarket types. See how he "pek"??? Ronzai, aftermarket suspension but diffrnt brand b4 he swap back to stock setup. Stock tyres, no brace bars, stock brakes. Ever tried riding with him??? Yewwing, using aftermarket suspension Pro Ride from Sapura Industries for more thn 2yrs. Ever tried keeping up with him??? or taking a ride with him??? And u know how he pek corners rite??? He is only driving a Saga and been using it as his daily ride with Indon tires. How cheap is your cheap between other brands??? Mostly all (non adjustable) have the nearly the same price range and perform more alike. I m not being bias towards Pro Ride bcuz I myself are not using Pro Ride absorbers for my car. I m using an ordinary standard Monroe Sensatrac absorbers for nearly 4 yrs (2yrs on my old Sedan) and it suits ME very well. But I don't claim dat their are the best and has the MOST VALUE for $$$. |

QUOTE(Notoriez @ Apr 23 2011, 01:09 AM) When did i say it's the BEST??? Do i MOCK other brands??? Did i Say Pro Ride SUCKS??? Did I ever mention dat u said Pro Ride and other brands sux??? Nope. Did I ever mention dat other brands are so good till can pek corners like GOD?? I dun think so. Thru out my whole sentences did I ever praise Pro Ride more thn others??? Did I ever shoot IMP sux??? Nope.Value for money meant rather than saving few hundred RM on stock Kayaba or some cap ayam brand, might as well i go for a PROVEN setup and deal with it. Why would i want to save just few hundred RM and it doesn't satisfy us @ all and decide to EXPERIMENT to other brand. And yes i dont have RICH parents to PAY for my car. I wont mind to test all brands if i have someone SPONSORING me. Other brands Im NOT SURE!! Do you see i comment about them??? I am TALKING about IMP vs ADJUSTABLES right. It's just a gesture on why you need to spend thousands of ringgit for ADJUSTABLES when there are other good cheaper alternative out there... Is my English WRONG? Which part of my sentence you DONT understand.... Money is not easy to earn nowadays and getting the right absorbers which give the MOST value for money is really IMPORTANT! Why i MENTIONED 4G1series kaki here? You don't NEED ADJUSTABLES to take corners @ high speed. With a good aftermarket absorbers that only cost not more than RM1k, you can do that as well without hurting your wallet.. If you have other BRANDS in mind then feel free to SUGGEST with prove / facts....Pro Ride might be good in terms of performance but from what i heard from my fellow colleagues / friends which is NOT 4G1series kaki btw, reliability is a suspect. Im not saying it's bad or what ever, just do a thorough RESEARCH before decide to part your precious $$$$$ U did mention a few of our fren's using IMP. So to compare it, I gave a few examples of our fren's using a diffrnt kind of setup and brands. Yet, none of them are on Adjustables suspensions. And how do we compare it??? Hard to say rite??? Sum "whack" those corners like a maniac. Yes I notice u were comparing IMP v.s Adjustables and yes... there are alot of adjustables which can be fitted on our SagaIswaras. (IMP, APM, Titan, HWL and etc). Getting things straight here, just bcuz you felt IMP is better in terms of Non-adjustable V.S Adjustables categories, but dat doesn't make it (IMP) the MOST value for $$$ as YOU mention earlier rite??? For you maybe yes. But for others, they have their own opinion. Maybe Kayaba/Monroe and other brands can perform the same as IMP in the Non-adjustable V.S Adjustable categories??? But how do we know??? Neither of us tried all the brands available in the market. So it is hard to say which brand has the MOST value for $$$... agree??? As you mentioned b4, "there are OTHER good cheaper alternative out there" and I have nothing against it. So it is not wrong for others to contribute/express their opinion rite??? |
