cut the insuflex according to the plastic door frame..

I do quite ugly for the boot part

but when I open the plastic part at the side of the car boot I stick properly hehe

this is whr I do my HU + speaker change at Brothers Puchong. Quite reasonable price.

Overall my opinion:

1. Important to do soundproofing. The effect is fantastic. We don't need to drive Japanese car to feel comfort and quietness. Just need to make effort to self DIY and soundproof the car. Now my car is so quiet you know? I nvr do floor also so quiet. If want do the floor to me waste of time unless the road u use is very lousy. Must do the bonnet to insulate engine noise, do the doors to reduce sound from outside, do the roof to insulate heat from sun (I don't feel hot anymore cause usually I can feel the sun is penetrating the roof and attack me , last but not least the boot space to reduce the noisy sound from the back.
Material get from ?

2. Change new floor mat. Quite good. I get the very thick mat and it covers the whole floor of my car (that's why I dun reli need the floor insulation cz the floor mat itself is very thick). Can prevent the floor from getting dirty. I got this one for RM130.

3. Put in new audio player. Upon changing, my back speaker suddenly play music so well. I was amazed. Looks like Proton stock HU sucks wei. I choose Kenwood cz of sound clarity. If u want bass go for Pioneer HU. The HU with USB should cost less than RM400 while with aux in less than RM300.

4. Speaker. Very good la! I listen to the music hor, I dun feel like leaving the car anymore! The bad effect is the playback from radio is suck that make the speaker have crack sound. Use USB or Aux in cable once you upgrade ur HU !

5. Last but not least, the tinting. If u nvr tint ur car sure hot till kao lat. My tinting is RM160 from SolarTint shop for RM160. keke

That's all the upgrade I done for now.
I duno what to upgrade anymore as I am modifying my car more to comfort rather than performance and outlook.
Any upgrades u guys can share?

I am back to ask some question.
Just now I was driving then suddenly the heat sensor shows maximum temp.
I was damn scared.
So I pull over and check the car.
The radiator have enough water.
The fan is running.
I off the car.
After 1 hour I start back I drive, the temperature is like normal again.
Then ok liao?
Can anyone tell me why it is like that?

For the first time of my life I rev my car till rpm 6k.
I change gear every 6k.
I drive emotionally yesterday cz of some ji bai housemate I have tat made me super angry.
Manage to sapu a lot of car on the road when I go back my home cause I dulan my housemate in uniten.
The story goes:
Yesterday got some huge argument with my <s>parasite</s> housemates.
dulan them.
let them sit my car consider good adi.
then when on the lift they off the light and gb by poking my body until I fell down.
after that act like duno.
I fark them then they say go la noone needs you.
Ji bai punya housemate.
exam session is coming
I really gona act everything is fine and until last minute before they sit my car I speed off.
I want make them late for exam

Overall can say iswara is a damn good car!

Wassup.
I am back for some modding.
After a month of using my modified ICE.
The sound is still sux because the stupid back speaker is Proton Clarion 4 inch speaker.
The sound will crack if the music too much bass.
Here comes me to change the fate of my ICE =D

RM 60 bought imitation from tunersandtoy shop at ara damansara (who cares about ori or fake sound abt the same)

do wiring. cut the current wire and make it lonnger by adding another wire. easy job.

notice I have elongated the wire and used duct tape to seal it.
the wood panel I made a hole on it.

at first I tot want ask ppl install for me but I du lan cause he say want cut my metal piece that support the wood.
So I ownself DIY lo.
Quite easy to do.
Luckily I do myself.
If you guys need to fix it urself can ask me first how to do it.

Good question you got there.
Well as you can see, the speaker is too big that it will definitely overlap the metal supporter right?

I don't believe the assemblyman cause he talk crap want remove the metal and say later the wood might fall off cz no more supporter so ask me buy another wood?
It is just a gimmick so that we have to buy another wood from them that costs RM50? WTF.

Actually we can remove the metal supporter with pliers.
But first you have to open up the cloth that covers the wood.
After that use the screwdriver to cungkil the dead bolt to remove the whole thing.
After removing the metal supporter, start drilling and makes holes for your speaker.
As you can see there is a line stain that shows the previous location of my metal supporter.

Once you done with the hole and making sure the speaker is in place, take out the speaker and put back the metal supporter with screw and nut.
Get from DIY shop la.

Tada. I refit the thing.
Remember you have to drill another hole to fit it.
Overall DIY yourself is better
