My old 4G13 been using all sort of carbie for nearly 2years w/o any air filter until to the very last month b4 I sold off the car. I langgar water puddle till lost control, drove thru flooded roads in S.Alam and KL, habuk, pasir and etc no problem oso. The carbie is way on top of the engine section la... susah mau sedut any shits except dust lor.... :huah:

Talking about flooded roads . Now with CAI fitted at down front of our bumper will it suck water in ah ? =x It goes to the air filter kan ?

water goes in the cai but wont make it till air filter. because I drilled 3 small holes at the place that have the probability of stagnant water in the cai. no problem so far..

If got budget go for K&N price should be about RM 2xx

Abit expensive...

My mech who is 'certified' in both PATCO & DENSO products only charge around RM80-100 (only applicable to Wira ^ Saga). Myvi is around RM300-350 coz need to dismantle the whole dashboard to access the cooling coil i tried to survey other places, some of them if not most charge RM4++...

He is doing a good job in A/C services..located in Sri Muda Shah Alam...

Did my compressor conversion from the patco to bigger denso compressor for only RM550. Change everything including the small black bottle (can't remember what's the name) not forgetting 2 small bottle of compressor additives ~ each RM45 (supposed to protect compressor one)
