How do U find their product quality/finishing compared to genuine?

if u worry mounting and rigidity, dun modify gearbox lo... gearbox usually the last to modify... unless u gearing for specific purposes such as drag racing or wangan racing... else, stock ratio is ALMOST alwiz suitable for stock or mildly modded engine...

dyno run usually cost approx rm70-rm80.... group dyno will be slightly cheaper...

jasma has tonnes of products, ranging from performance parts to interior accessories... which one u refer to??...

group dyno means ramai-ramai go dyno together... can mintak discount from workshop lorr.... usually 5-10cars above only got discount...

as for jasma products, there are good ones and bad ones.... even big aftermarket names from overseas also had their products manufactured in china/taiwan... just that they did further product inspection to ensure the quality before marketing them out at much higher price....

all in all, got money, buy original... no money, settle for taiwan malii... u cannot pay peanuts but expect it to be original...

The total amount spent??? Might as well u get a better platform to play with. I m not saying dat 4G13/15 platform is not fiestable, but by simply BOT-ing a 4G91 for example, plonk in an Evo3 wiring and turbo kit..... easily touch above 160hp on stock Evo ECU.

Yes u can play around with the ignition timing while running on a carbie engine but u might gonna experience difficulties tuning the right AirFuel in the future. For surely u gotta redo the wiring to tap the ignition (coil, cam sensor/distributor) which is much the same and easier if u convert the whole system into EFI right??? And trust me, running "Lean" at the wrong time is not fiestable.

The Satria 4G13 is 1 gud example of a decent BOT setup. He is using a piggyback system to control both AFR and Ignition timing. Dats y his car can gain 180hp. Every engine dat plays around with the ignition timing can gain impressive figures. A proper tuning can help keep the engine healthy at its best. nod.gif 

Both are running on MAP ECU so no matter wat, u still gotta have a proper management.
