my batt drains really fast now~ what the heck~ n im on stock rom still ( rooted n S-OFF) is tat normal? i've done the calibration b4 i rooted my phone..after i rooted it, it became a bit long lasting but after S-OFF, it drains up my batt real fast as in 5 mins (on standby) = 10% batt down~ anyone like tis? last time i need to charge only once per day, now like 3 times per day~

Actually, if i perm root my DHD, whats the benefit i get or what apps should i have? I dont really need to flash custom rom coz all i need is enough with stock rom. Any1 can share?

Just one question, how is the battery life span??

Well, rooting gives you previlege of flashing the radio (for better signal/battery life), the kernel (got OC one to make your phone faster)..but if the stock is good enough for you then no need to root...and also, got some apps need rooted before it can be install

a lot~ well, even i oso dunno, but u can buy paid apps using another app that needs root, which is market access, last time called market enabler~ as in Malaysia we dun really have a paid app market, use tis to get good paid apps~ got also in the forum~

haha, no nit buy also, juz google, can find many apps for free
