Well, to do a complete system backup..you need to root your phone first...install visionary+ and then permroot your phone...after that reboot...then install BACKUP APP (like wise MyBackup/Titanium)...backup your Stock ROM
Added on January 30, 2011, 4:41 pmAnother thing i usually forget...you can also use CWM to do a NANDROID Backup This post has been edited by monza84: Jan 30 2011, 04:42 PM |

QUOTE(OWS @ Jan 30 2011, 04:42 PM) "It's important that You have on Your SDCard root directory with name DHD and all files inside this directory. Rename DHD-smart folder on Your SDCARD to DHD."--> i do not understand this That's the complicated way...there's one easier "2.6) If everything went OK type sh /sdcard/DHD/backup"---> after type in this, backup will be done and i can save a copy to my pc ? Use this to do HBOOT & Radio S-Off ----> Click Click |

QUOTE(OWS @ Jan 30 2011, 04:46 PM) after permroot, and backup the stock rom, how i install back the stock rom ? Well, after PERMROOT, you need to install ROM Manager and flash the recovery (which is ClockWorkMod~CWM)...use ROM Manager, you can also do Backup (and this is preferable because it will backup the whole system "CWM to do a NANDROID Backup" wat is CWM ? titanium and nandroid wat is the different ? actually wat should i backup ? coz i saw in the front page have few diff backup... As for MyBackup/Titanium Backup ~ are for APPS/DATA Backup, doesn't include the system *usually we call backup using ROM Manager is a NANDROID Backup Added on January 30, 2011, 4:51 pmAs for restoration of the STOCK ROM, you can use ROM Manager to restore the Backup.. QUOTE(OWS @ Jan 30 2011, 04:59 PM) means that permroot-->install rom manager to backup whole system which including apps. correct ? Yes, you should save a copy in your PC (we can never know what will happen should i save a copy in pc ? then how i wan to make it back to the original (sorry for so many question) *dun delete the backup in the SD Card ) and yes the backup will save your system & apps... Backup to original : ROM Manager > Restore & Manage ROM > Choose your stock ROM (and it will flash yours to the Stock ROM), there you go..got your Stock ROM back |
