I'm afraid Maybank will soon revise redemption points higher now that every RM1 spent is worth 5 points. Guess I need to redeem Flexi-Reward every 10000 points even if it is only for RM50.

It is stated that Maybankard 2 Master available from April onwards, so all of you that have applied or got your cards, all taking Visa?

For holders of Amex Gold Credit Card who already got hold of the Maybankard 2 Amex, do both cards share the same expiry month?

Nov 2010 spending 15% cash back was credited on 6 Jan 2011, and Dec 2010 spending credited today. I spent at Ikano Harvey Norman on 4 Dec 2010 and today managed to get the full RM150 cash back.

Amex MR points can redeem 200 points for RM1, called Flexi Reward, you can call CS and redeem. Redeemed amount will be credited back to the card account. E.g Amex Gold Credit Card gives MR points.

Amex TP points so far can only redeem vouchers. E.g. Maybankard 2 Amex gives TP points.

Glad to hear that major pharmacies accept Amex. However, their price of medicines are not cheap at all, even after minus 7.5% equivalent cashback using Amex. I buy a lot of medicines every month, I found a pharmacy in Dataran Sunway which MCC code falls in 5% cashback category, and its price is very very competitive.

Interested can PM me for details. (I'm not promoter, but just want to help more people save money)

While we consider the Amex cashback, sometimes need to survey prices at different places also. No point buying RM300 with Amex 15% cashback, but sold RM250 at Chinese medicine shop. One example was when I bought an Omron blood pressure meter, selling price was like RM270 - RM300 in Jusco, Guardian, Caring, but I got the exact same model at RM199 from a pharmacy in Taman Megah.

I am also learning. This is first time I own Amex card. What is the purpose of the four digit number on the right side of the card?
*
That is the card's verification number, same as the 3-digit of Visa/Master.

Since the 15% cash back were credited on 6 Jan 2011 and 6 Feb 2011 respectively, I thought Jan 2011 cash back should be around 6 Mar 2011, but surprisingly I got the full RM150 cash back credited yesterday. But that will be my last cash back as my spending entitlement for Feb 2011 = nil.

For my AMEX Gold and Plat, even I requested them to remove from M2U, seems like it's still there! It has been 2 months since I canceled Plat and recently on the Gold. Have been making this request a few times... Wondering what's wrong at their side...
*
Over the years, I cancelled a few MBB cards and they still appear in M2U. I requested for removal at a branch itself, over the phone and at MBB Kiosk in 1 Utama, but some how they stayed there. So my most recent attempt was to send an email, and finally it worked and all removed properly.

Anybody won the RM100 promo? I don't see the list of winners at maybank website.  rclxub.gif

I don't see the list of winners after so long time. Wondering if this is a gimmick by MBB to ask user to spend more.  hmm.gif

I received 2 such sms on 28 May & 21 June 2012. Finally when login today, saw "Season of winning-daily prize winner" of RM100 credited yesterday.

I'm still receiving the 15% Cash Back promo SMS as at today, 19 Dec 2012!  shocking.gif
*
Since you still receive the SMS today, if you spend today within the stipulated T&C, I wonder whether you can "argue" with the bank if the final 15% rebate given does not include today's spending.

For those of us that did not receive the SMS, it is more logical that we can't "argue" with the bank even if we spend within the stipulated T&C today.

then is useless. cause MPPP not open on saturday shakehead.gif

I don't know about MPPP, but MBPJ is open on Saturdays & Sundays for every Jan & Feb, Jul & Aug to facilitate payment of assessments.

I have just paid MBPJ assessment for 1-year for 2014 last Sunday. Using MBB Amex, I got 5% rebate, 2x TP, and a free umbrella from MBPJ.

1st time reloaded Plusmiles Touch 'n Go using Maybank Amex at NKVE Damansara toll exit, not at toll lanes but at the reload counter in the building on the left. Now using Maybank terminals.

hi bro. which road you use to enter the office?  confused.gif

enter Damansara or Exit damansara
*
Exit Damansara toll means paying at the toll booth whether it is by cash, Touch 'n Go/SmartTag. If enter Damansara toll, means collecting the toll ticket or scan your Touch 'n Go/SmartTag.

So the reload was done at the office immediately on the left after paying the toll.
