Anyway to waive Amex platinum annual fee?
*
Yes. I spend consistently 6 figure amount monthly on my Platinum charge card. When they charged the annual fee I wasn’t happy and rang up the CS. It wasn’t a straight forward waiver. They agreed to give me x number of membership rewards points which is enough to redeem for annual fee waiver.

Conclusion is yes it is possible. It took a few days as it was done with higher management approval.

I am curious as to how Charge Card expenditure is reflected on CCRIS?

Charge card doesn’t have a preset spending limit so how do they determine the figure to put as financing limit on CCRIS report as there is no such thing as a clean cut credit limit?

I have a question:

I have credit cards and charge card currently with MBB. I seldom use my credit cards and mostly spend on my amex charge card which I pay in full every month without fail. Prefer using charge card as it does not have any pre set spending limit as I consistently charge 6 figure amounts every month.

When applying for credit / loan from other bank, how do they view this heavy charge card usage? Never missed a payment and always pay in full.

My concern is about the debt / utilisation ratio as charge card does not carry a credit limit per say, would it impact in any bad way? I wonder what figure appears on the CCRIS report as the credit limit for the charge card?

Please help to enlighten me. Thanks.

Their marketing team is quite weak. They have full page advert on newspaper, but they don't update their website. I don't buy any newspaper, so wouldn't have know they have switched to metal charge card. Wonder how they reach potential customers.

Did the newspaper advert mention of any new benefits? Hopefully they have attractive deals for 2020.

Hello, which Mercedes Benz dealership accepts Amex for purchase of their new cars? Thank you.

I don’t think you can buy a merc from a dealership now.
Everyone buys direct from mercedes like Tesla. All done online. You transfer the deposit directly to mercedes’s bank account.

Can if you find the right person.
I don't know who, don't ask me, but saw it a few times someone showing off.

I think at the end of the day, if you're willing to pay the merchant fees (1% - 2%) borne by the car dealer, they'll give in for anything beyond 10k.

How long usually miles will be reflected in frequent flier's account after successful airmiles redemption from MR?
