I'm currently using both Amex Gold Charge Card and Maybank2Card. Do you think it is redundant? Should I cancel the charge card?
*
Depends. What is your primary usage on the charge card?

Hmm... petrol, groceries, etc... the normal stuff. But usage wise, it is almost same as my maybank2card.

If you are not using any other privileges like lounge access, etc, you will earn more benefits by focusing on M2Card only (cashback and faster TP accumulation)..unless you still going for the MR points

for purchasing they should have 2 tiered security like mastercard, I think they compensate this by sms with every purchase and avoid hassle by the 2 tier system. haihz. cant shop this weekend.  yawn.gif  my card also high time, was cracking already.

complain to have them enable the 2 tier security?

complain to them so that maybank will have to provide a written reply on what are the steps taken by them to address this issue.

cunning bastards Maybank! When I called 2 weeks ago, they said no! I have 400k unused points better used it before at Harvey Norman before end of the month!

it took them 7 days to reply my email on this matter too. we still do not know what are the changes, so it depends whether you wanna wait for the new catalogue or not. let's hope it is not too drastic.

hi, correct me if i'm wrong but i noted the treatpoints rate has changed from 200 points equal to RM1 to 250 points equal to RM1 (we now need 12,500 points to redeem RM50 service tax)... suddenly, we lost 20% of our treatpoints value!!!
*
Yup, effective 1st August

You can transfer the TP to your other maybank cards that collect TP too.
