I love marketing. But my parents and lecturers have been adamantly advising me against it because alot of people study marketing (a degree in marketing has very low req) so the whole market is very staurated with graduates like these. sad.gif

Yea. My lecturer actually wanted me to stay for law. He said if I stayed the college will give me a full scholarship for my external degree. I like business, but my family and lecturers say I can study something more suitable for my intellect and that you don't need a degree in business to do business. I tell my parents I wanna do marketing they sure spit blood

They've been trying to get me to ask my parents to meet them. they want me to change my mind and remain for law. They say waste of talent. I'm very pressured because my family isn't very well off right now because my younger bro is in sg studying.

Summary: Lecturer want me stay in law college for law. Full scholarship excluding exam fees. Uni of london external. Wants to see my parents, they say waste money waste time waste talent for business degree, no professional body. They are still waiting for me to change my mind.

Not sanfu, but making decision. Law vs business, fees etc. I can study, i love studying but my parents are the one paying? I need to support them as soon as I graduate because my dad has been retired for a few years di.

Study loan is 300 or so a month.....200-300 if you choose to pay back within 15 years

So even though I earn 3k a month, 200- 300 is reasonable.....If your friend earns 10k, she can choose to pay back lump sum or take her time... smile.gif

The new policy, they immediately deduct from salary di, so no chance for you to spend. Alot of ppl borrow di dunwan give back, so govt feedup
