rainbow6, need help please.
i didnt check using the connectbot at first without knowing my ifconfig is /system/bin/ifconfig and i flash the busyVPN.zip instead of AndVPN.zip. after that, i delete the folder xbin in system folder from root explorer, at first the flash back to AndVPN.zip is fine, but then when i try using OpenVPN, it said 'system doesnt met requirements. you need root'. so i installed back again root from speedmod kernel and when i try to flash back AndVPN.zip, now it said :
E:Can't symlink /system/xbin/bb/ifconfig E:Failure at line 3: symlink /system/bin/ifconfig SYSTEM:xbin/bb/ifconfig Installation abort
How to solve this? Is it my system is already messed up (which i think so right now) ? Thanks a lot. Im looking forward to use this Boleh VPN smehow.
edit : and right now im using the OpenVPN, when i turn on the open vpn, it cannot connect and says " FATAL: Cannot allocate TUN/TAP dev dynamically". what's the cause of the problem eh? im staying in Egypt btw, is this working outside Malaysia or not?

QUOTE(rainbow6 @ Jan 17 2011, 05:03 PM) It should work anywhere in world. But you should not delete /system/xbin, that totally messed up your system. My configuration wrote to /system/xbin/bb, which you can delete. /system/xbin/bb can be deleted and recreate by reflash the AndBVPN. However if you delete /system/xbin, you need the reinstall your kernel and then reinstall my files. i already flash back the kernel (speedmod K12N) and delete the folder in /system/xbin/bb but when i start restarting the OpenVPN, still the TUN/TAP cannot allocate dynamically. still cannot do. wait, this is also functioning for 3G connection right?

QUOTE(rainbow6 @ Jan 18 2011, 12:06 PM) Maybe related to your dns. During connection to openvpn you are using google dns. It may take your isp sometimes to reset the dns. Go to openvpn setting and click on the fix dns and check which dns are you using. Im not sure if your provider allow you to use goggle dns or nof. thanks for the info, so far the service is running good. Pandora is at top notch, Skype is marvellous. Except that i accidently turn on the data roaming for the connection and poof, my credit is gone. haha, btw thumbs up for this great service.
