i bought 2 units of deka water heater with pump but seems i'm very dissapointed with the porudct,. 1st of all, the 1st heater's pimp button take sometime to on which mean when it needs to be press for 5 seconds or longer to "ON"..
2nd heater, the handle grip to hold the hand shower thingy is loose, pump is not functioning at all, and most importantly, water is still cold.. the whole damn thing is like a garbage. Speaking of this..am damn annoyed and dissapointed with the brand.

Why not go to their service centre and make some noise. Definately will take action after that. But it's still under warranty right? Get them to change to a NEW replacement.

Recommend you to choose Joven. Deka is relatively new company compared to Joven. Despite Deka having attractive designs, doesn't mean it works well.

well, i also have the same issue here. my mom said she bought this brand becasue the shop owner recommend it. It's less than 2 months, the whole thing spoil, the button cannot even press, press already nothing.. not just that.. the stupid pump also cannot pump water.. this heater also make a loud noise, Argh!
(Quite mad at my mom who listened to the shop owner too!)

i called the shop owner since it's still under warranty, i called them last week, no action. i called them yesterday, no action, i called them today, no action lagi... Argh!!

i know is cheapskate to bad mouth on others.. tongue.gif tongue.gif
but i want to share with you, this shop "D'LEGEND LCD & HIFI Sdn Bhd", located at ss2/75,
tel: 03-78773186

Godsh! I think the sales person also know this brand no good, and want to recommend the customers to buy this brand to clear their stock.. some more tell my mom good, very good.

Obviously, my mom is a typical aunty, she did not do extensive research on brand for heater, it's not something we buy very often.

mad at my mom cuz she like kena tipu, people say what then buy what...

Just now i called them, the shop owner said 3 days.. by Monday, still no one call me, i will go to shop and make noise... make the rest of his customers freak out of his poor service.. keep telling me they ardy called the Deka ppl to call me etc.. Do they not know, if i have a problem, i don't want to here story, i only want solution. I HAD ENOUGH OF COLD BATH!! I don't want lagi! doh.gif

i really don't think i want to do that.. i think i ardy talk to them nicely, follow up, call and call... BUT my patience has a limits! Their service is horrible!! rclxub.gif

Anything spoil should go directly to the brand service center. Not the shop. This already practice thousand yrs. Unless no service center here.

i bought 2 unitsof DEKA water heater about 1 year plus now. those water heaters have given me nothing but problems. during warranty period, i called up DEKA for 5 times. one unit heats water the water too much wheareas the other, like couldnt heat water at all. the 'SILENT' pump is totally rubbish, even my deaf grandmother can hear the pump's noise. my USER ADVICE, DONT GET DEKA UNLESS U LIKE PROBLEMS!

I juz oder DEKA water heater last week. Not sure what model it is but it complete with pump and shower. They juz install it last 2 days. The pump is too noisy and can woke my parents from a sleep. Haissh! Tonight my family complain that water heater not functioning. I col the dealer CIMA LIGHTNING and they will arrange onsite service next week. After tiaw him they agree to repair it tomorrow. But its not directly from DEKA. The servce is from the dealer technician it self. I want report to DEKA servce centre but there is no address in the warranty card. They juz put a phne num only. I reaaly piss off with the product and servce. Can i make complain and get my right to PUSAT HAK PENGGUNA?

Ya. I also have the same issue here. Bought 5 units of Deka water heater with pump few months ago after renovating my house. 2 units out of 5 already not functioning. Sigh...they really need to do some research and QC before they release the product into the market. Feel so annoyed and disappointed with their poor quality product. Never want to use their product again in the near future.

I don't have any personal experience with Deka water heater, but as I read the comments above it seems the heaters are not properly installed. After reading for all those comments I suddenly got to remember about the heater, my sister installed last year. The place where they installed it was getting water stain mark all over the wall. So she wanted to change the place of the heater and wanted to repair a few things, so she contacted the Heater repair Goleta for helpful hints. Likewise, you can also contact them through their website and get a solution over heater repair.
