i think tasker can. but need to modify a bit. make media volume 0.

i try to add voice for charging profile u make earlier.
i want it to say "battery almost full" when in 90%.
so i add task, misc, say "battery almost full" and tick if %BATT ~ 90.
not working. tried use =, still not working.
any idea?

Edit: if you success,then i wonder why i couldnt make it work..

i send my htc to sis centre at berjaya square already, i suspect hardware problem la.

my phone can boot up pass the htc logo after i take out the battery and put it back in. did few testing there.

without simcard and memory card, it boot pass the htc logo. power off then when to turn on again, failed. take out and put back the battery, it boot up pass the logo again. sigh lucky that my htc still has the warranty.

google around and found out that it is common problem for desire

anyone has experience dealing with warranty claim? is it fast?

I make new context, battery level, then set it from 90 to 91.
Task- say batt almost full if %charge=1.
it works.

I feel you dude, was so confused about the guide of rooting and find some of the guide is not exactly same for your model.
But I did take up the steps to root and flash new rom.
unfortunately I Think I didn't root and flash the rom correctly so My new Leedroid rom got storage problem and then luckilly I did nandroid backup (which the guide didn't ask me to do) I can revert back to stock Rom and my old setting...
till now still using stock rom because don't have time to really sit down do all the flashing etc....
mayb will spend more time to read up and flash a good rom.....
I think the problem now is we are lacking of a complete and conventional guide to root and flash for newbie specifically on Desire SLCD.
got guide for nandroid, rooting, rooting with unrevoked, flash rom , gold card....
all these are well written but for newbie like me , I dunno which 1 to do 1st and which 1 is necessary and we need some1 to tell us that's outdated, you don't have to do this, once you did this you don't have to do this etc..

Once android , forever Android , iPhone just like an auto phone . I still love Android coz could edit and customize every thing ..

I have already install HTC sync and uninstall HTC sync leaving only the drivers there. Then i follow the instruction to install the Android modified USB drivers.
I plug in phone, reboot into the HBOOT, then detect the Android 1.0 thing in device manager (with yellow exclamation mark), then i install the drivers from a folder on my hard disk and it was installed successfully. I saw the Revoke saying something about pushing a recovery image (quiet large)..i think that is done...it it the last part...says "rooting..." and then finally failed.

er , how to delete the gmail contact list ? my phone got phone contact and gmail contact link . anyway to delete all contact data on gmail ？

Ok.ok,...now i think i am rooted? I've restart my PC and tried again. The last stage shows some green text and black screen saying something about rebooting into clockwork recovery. The unrevoke screen shows "Done". Means ok??

How do i checked if it's rooted successfully??

ok, i found superuser in appmarket, but it's a free app. Shall i update it?? And how come i don't see any paid apps? I have already registered an account in Google android market previously. Need to remove the my HTC desire and add again?
