I've been in a foreign guild even I'm playing in US servers. First was chinese guild... everyone uses those chinese char thingy to chat. Guild chat is pretty boring. I only whisper between friends in the guild. I do get responses if I asked something or chatting something there, its just that most of the time everything they chat or talked is in chinese. sien... I've made my own friends out of guild but between whispers only... I lost to joy a guild chatting abit :< Then now in vietnamese guild. I didn't purposely apply for these guilds, its just that my best friends are in it, they do speak english but they don't own the whole few hundred ppl in the guild. So same situation, mostly chatting in vietnamese, i cannot tumpang their topic at all :< they can speak english btw, Whatever i asked n talked are nicely replied. Its just that they too started all their talks in viet.

This is just guild...

And how are you gonna make new friends?? I make lots of random friends, to the extend to knowing horde n adding them to bnet recently rofl... all these ppl are keeping me occupied, so does lots more from guild... but i really felt left out when they chatted alot in viet >.<

oh btw, latency is ok lah.. 200-300ms with tunnels is more than i can ever wish for.. even thought i secretly wanna b greedy and wished for 2digit ms xD

if you play in oceanic server.. more than half of the people there are playing same ping with you, no worries, you are not being left behind.

50ms or 100ms is like heaven, i would grin all day just by looking at it but i kept having this imagination, if i were to go taiwan, its like im a lone warrior, i'll probably enjoy pvp only with that ms... I pug alot :> i pug everyday. I like random chats. WOW is fun when socialize if language is a barrier, will it still be fun there?

I'm playing in frostmourne But I know no active malaysians in it. But 100% there is alot here.

But if you really want to play, choose a server where you can have friends beforehand. Helps a lot. Try asking if any guild with large malaysian players for a casual spot for you. (If you happen to be in one friendly one which is open to invite anyone, offer him! )

I can get you a guild invite if you wanna come, but prepared to be bored as you'll probably chat with me only unless you could make more new friends asap

To hidden830726, I'm just telling something I've been through only, not wanting to offend you or anything ya you have your point and I agree on it.
I'll 100% move to taiwan server if my friends move there too I can even make it 9000% confirm on yes to switching!
A couple times I've quit wow because friend quit too due to too busy with study or work. But I came back because they come back too! Well they didn't plan on coming back, I just poison them on cata content and they decided to come back.
