haha indeed its plain, especially compared to the sleek look of the N series. But i guess i can do without usb 3.0, can't really utilize it anyway...and i have external speakers too. what's important to me is, is N series build quality really better than A series? It being the premium model and all.
*
The build quality and craftsmanship is a whole lot better than the A series nod.gif
Apart from the keyboard, I've never seen such a solid laptop before~
Still, if you are really good at taking care of your laptop, build quality won't matter much icon_rolleyes.gif

I am predicting our price would be around rrp rm3.6k also when it comes out... Rm400 to get the laptop 1 month+ earlier? I guess it's worthed it if u need it urgently.. Laptop prices go down a bit after 1 month anyways..
*
Yeah, I'm guessing the price would be RM3.6-3.7k as well... just like last time's N43Jq and N53Jq hehe hmm.gif
Very interesting and headache-inducing pricings laugh.gif

Any links to this HP Elitebook? notworthy.gif

and yes, there are Asus variants running on Ati/AMD Radeon. You can refer here for more details regarding the specs: http://event.asus.com/my/2011/productguide/PG_Jan_Feb.pdf

QUOTE(imin @ Feb 25 2011, 04:02 PM)
but it seems non of the asus sandy bridge laptop has ati gc
that's why.. furthermore the design is nice...
*
Because Nvidia Optimus only works for Nvidia GPUs? laugh.gif
I may be wrong but afaik ATI/AMD GPUs can only support manual switching...

Anyway, for those curious about the Elitebook, the link is here: http://www.waleg.com/techgadgets/archives/022137.html

The specs seemed very restricted to achieve the 32 hour mark... and it looks almost the same as the current Probook... I think the main difference would be the exorbitant price tag laugh.gif
Its very far from what SB laptops can do laugh.gif

If i'm not mistaken, people have been saying that the acer can't switch between the nvidia and integrated graphics.

The Acer 5750G doesn't have problems switching... only the Lenovo Y560P does laugh.gif
