Hey, thanks for the update. Another question, usually u all use Paypal or Credit Card to buy? and what is Paypal? Any charges using Paypal?
so, can i conclude this: Lextra is more long lasting and durable. Lextra does not crack.
Previously, if you buy from kitbag.. you can only opt for credit/debit cards. Now you can use paypal.
If you ask me, it's better to use debit card. Else, credit card. Paypal is the last resort. Why?
Paypal is a tool that was created by ebay. Previously if you buy things at ebay, the payment is made outside ebay's control.. using bank draft or bank transfers. What happens if a transaction fails or a seller is caught selling fake goods/items not arriving? ebay has no power to help the buyer back. That is why paypal was created. Ebay can control more on the transaction done between ebay sellers and buyers.
Now... before I tell you why debit card is better than paypal.. understand first how paypal works. If you want to send payment to someone else using paypal (or to pay for an ebay good), you must have paypal credits (amount of money) in your paypal account. If your paypal account has GBP80 credits in it, you want to buy a shirt for GBP50, you pay the seller using your paypal account and the credits will be deducted and remains GBP30. Next, you want to buy another shirt for GBP50 as well.. your paypal account has only GBP20.. how do you pay? You will need a credit/debit card or bank account (only works in certain countries like USA, UK.. not in malaysia yet.. malaysia can only tie bank accounts for moiney withdrawal from paypal account) to top up GBP30 in your paypal account. You can pay the seller GBP50 but GBP30 will be deducted from somewhere (credit/debit card). Then your paypal account will be GBP0. That's how paypal works.
In the past, there were sellers in lowyat who offer services to transfer paypal credits into your paypal account. You send payment to them via bank transfer like maybank2u.. then few minutes later, they will transfer paypal credits to you. The amount of money you have to pay them is slightly higher than the correct currency exchange. It is like something when you go to currency exchange shop and convert RM to another currency... Anyway... you get the idea.. that there is paypal credits that you can use or add in your paypal account.
Now... the key to all of this is... if you want to buy something using paypal, your paypal account must have paypal credits in it. If yes, it will deduct the exact amount from your paypal account if you have the credits. What if, you buy something like from kitbag but you have no paypal credits in your account? You can still continue the transaction but a certain amount of money needs to be deducted from somewhere else such as your credit/debit card. And the amount is slight higher.. Example, if 1USD = RM3.. you buy something from kitbag for USD30 which should be RM90... paypal will deduct not RM90 but extra such as RM95 from your credit/debit card account. The RM5 is extra charges charged by paypal.
If you use debit/credit card, the currency exchange rate is slightly lower compared to paypal. I've checked on this.. better to avoid using paypal if you have 0 credits in it.
About lextra.. yes.. the lextra namesets last longer compared to PU namesets.. PU namesets have risks of being ruined due to heat, moist.. Lextra namesets have one problem.. they can turn yellowish from time to time.. but if you talk about durability, lextra namesets are better.
Sorry if the explanation on paypal is a bit too long and confusing. Hope you understand.
