I just saw the description as 3% rebate totaling RM327+ in my unbilled transactions.

I thought max cap per person is RM200?
*
think cap was increased when they gave the extra 2%..

I have the Amex Gold and my Maybankard 2 Amex is coming soon, will I be eligible for the 15% Cash back for both my card?

Spend 1k for both Amex and get back rm300. whistling.gif
*
RM150 is a per principal customer limit, not a per card limit. If you have more than 1 card, the RM150 will be deposited into the highest ranked card.

Reading terms and conditions can help....

From T&C: Transactions will be tracked during campaign period based on the posting date.

Actually transactions made a few days before 1-Feb 2011, would be the likely part of the 300 winners ;-)

Not really... the contest sums up spending for all 4 months (not a monthly thing). So early spenders may not win anyway...

Maybe buying some gold/gems for Chinese New Year with company bonu$  drool.gif  cool2.gif

I mean the contest is not "who is the first". But who is the highest at the end of 4 months..

I called them 3 times this morning, asking different questions, including charges. and EON bank CS could be the dumbest and the most ineffective CS I've ever seen - they could only repeat 'you must call Collection Department tomorrow, heres there number blah blah'.
one more thing, i thought CS was 7/24? i called them 9.50 this morning, and that girl asked me to call back on 10am. First time ever CS told me to call back.....

Alliance Bank is similar as well smile.gif

can i swipe the AMEX card in the Esso pump station or have to go inside?

one more thing, how can i get e-statement for my MBB 2 card? i think you can register online in Maybank2u.com.my right? i tried to find but cannot find any. can someone help me here? sad.gif
*
You can swipe Amex at the pump at Esso, Mobil and Shell.

For e-statement, think you can enrol under M2U MyStatements...

guys here..need ur opinion.regarding the not widely-use of Amex at ptronas,is it possible to cancel my applcation of MBB 2?coz in long term amex doesnt support me either.can i cancel it?thinkg of applying ikhwan petronas cc
*
In my 2 cents, you could always pump a different petrol brand. Does not really make sense giving up 5x points in anything in most places just for 5x point in petronas.....

AMEX Gold only can get 5X points on certain things while MBB 2 card can get 5X for all spending you spent!!!

Anyway, have anyone using AMEX cards register to their website?
*
If you mean AmericanExpress.com.my, i think only MR-type cards can use it.

so u din apply as well?
i thk they are now approving those who filled in the form and are existing maybank cc holders

and oso no calls to the person or the company as well
*
yeah totally unprofessional in my opinion. Interested != want.
Should at least have given us a call.

It seems like there is a contest running. As such the system is very easily abused.

Anyway Maybank asking me to keep the card and to convert it to MC in April.

A bit worried abt issues like "oh u must cancel both cards and reapply the pair" as well as "oh u need to pay GST for the Visa and the MC"...

Call in to their hotline and check. If it is via poslaju usually can be accepted by some other person. If it is via their own office boy then no.

You request it to be sent to a MBB branch near your office as well

By the way did the officer call you to collect the card or they will post by mail?
*
Officer said mine will be delivered by hand :S

Just an input. The MBB CS told me that the benefit of the Visa/MC is 1x point when pumping petrol tongue.gif

I just read on a blog that in order for us to enjoy the Annual Fee Waiver the card needs to be swiped atleast 12x in a year right? I'm sure the online UTILITIES Payment doesn't apply for this 'swipe' right? Also in order to get the GST Waiver from OCBC, we need to spend atleast RM10k annualy - would this bills payment be included in it?  hmm.gif
*
y shouldn't it be?

Not quite right. For dining at restaurants, it is better to use OCBC Titanium MC during weekdays (if the RM50 cash back cap has not reached) and Maybankard 2 Amex during weekends (since it does not have cash back cap).

Besides, for non 5% cash back items under OCBC Titanium MC, you would better use Maybankard 2 Amex if the merchants accept Amex. It is because 5x TPs (Maybankard 2 Amex) is valuable than 1% cash back (OCBC Titanium MC).
*
incorrect. Maybank2 Amex has a cash back cap of RM50. Just that no fixed category of use.

I guess OCBC could be a bit "kiasu" and extra cautious. Anyway, I have already requested to reduce my CL significantly to RM6,000 only. This card is deemed useless after my monthly spending hits the maximum RM50 cash back.
*
i wanted to reduce my credit limit but the CS said I had to write in. Did you have the same experience or a phone call will do?
