There are 3 ways to pay Etiqa online.
1. Maybank www.maybank2u.com.my
2. Etiqa www.motortakaful.com.my
3. MYEG www.myeg.com.my

Thru Maybank and Etiqa entitile 10%.
MYEG no 10% but small amount to pay your road tax only.

Another way to pay is by calling Etiqa oneline 1300138888 which entitle 10%.
First time I called, the guy said can use AMEX, second time a lady said only VISA and MASTERCARD only. rclxub.gif

Thanks for the info. Kindly update once you successfully pay your motor insurance with AMEX (5% weekend cash rebate + 5x TP + 10% ) as mine is due mid Feb. smile.gif

Jusco's the best, no expiry date . Carrefour doesnt accept credit card for vouchers though shakehead.gif

choongkeong & sweetpea: Bro, you mean the 5% rebate applies to voucher as well? So, when you wanna buy something expensive, you just whip out multiple cards, each purchase 1k voucher to maximize the rebate? sweet.....

certain cards on certain days ONLY. eg, I use my Direct Access Master on Sunday to buy RM1000 worth of vouchers from Tesco, I get a rebate of RM50 the follwoing month. DO KEEP IN MIND the maximum cap each month though smile.gif.

If LHDN office accepts CC, then you may pay using CC. Otherwise, most of the online banking doesn't accept CC as payment type.

Since you got to pay for your parent insurance, my advise is that you go jog around the park early in the morning or late in the evening for free and save RM4.5K  tongue.gif You sure you going to utilize the machine for the next 2 or 3 years everyday? I myself bought 2 over the years and after first 2 months the machine just collect dust.

Save up your money and in 2 years time you get a better machine.

However, if you really really want the machine, ask the merchant if they will give you further discount if you swipe 1 go. If yes, go get another card and do BT 0% for 1 year. But you will still be in debt. Read my hypothetical case. link below

I know this is CC thread and not finance management but it seems to me you are buying something that you cannot afford to presently.

Hi Gen-x, just read your MBB2 post. You might have missed out the 12mths 0% BT offered till Apr 2011. No processing fee, no early settlement penalty I was told. Isn't that better than DA 6mths 0% BT ? Anyway the downside is the BT is bundled in the same statement, unlike DA smile.gif

Oh ya, and also signing up for 3 autopay will entitle one to 10K TP = GST waived.
BTW, has anyone sign up for Maybankard Secure Online Shopping (MSOS) ? It's available FOC from M2U site .

OK loh, for your entire family, what can I say. you should read my other blog titled Ringgit Wise Fool at http://ringgitwisefool.blogspot.com/ especially on wealth, click on label.

as for swiping one, go, do ask the merchant can get further discount or not, The last time I bought a foot massager, I ask for discount and the supervisor/manager said ok if I swipe one go and I think I got about 10% off the promotion price which can opt for 12 months 0% installment. No harm asking.
BT is a promotion and not a card feature and should not be considered when applying for a particular card where we look how the card feature can benefit us. As for BT, I personally prefer CIMB because of the separate statement and MBB 12 months would mean I would be in debt longer.

Anyway, just posted a new article on CIMB and MBB BT Plans at my blog giving example on how CIMB BT works. Click below:

Thanks Gen-X, I think I know which BT suits me better.
